Re: Monaco, tyre strategy and Ricciardo

Food for thought in regards to the start of the race if it remains dry... surely a red flag or safety car would ruin Ricciardo's strategy? The supersoft I heard would run a long distance so given half a chance, I think all the frontrunners would change tyres. I know he'd be much quicker at the end w...

Even if he did, the difference was negated in the next corner thanks to the condition of his tyres. I don't think it's worth being looked at.

Alonso by a country mile as far as i'm concerned. Ricciardo did upstage his teammate again but i felt that he should've caught the Ferrari easily.

My biggest dream is Red Bull dropping into the midfield

Aside from that, I'd like:

-Hulkenberg getting his first win/podium
-Rosberg to outscore Hamilton
-Williams to join the top few teams, Massa to get another win
-Ferrari to win either championship

Kubica caught my eye in the 2010 season with some impressive quali and race performances. Considering he could've been in a Ferrari seat right now, I'm sure he would've proven his worth as one of the top drivers on the grid.

A WDC though? If only we had the chance to find out :(

Didn't Red Bull also have a 1000km tyre test during the summer break?

The change certainly suited them more so than the other frontrunners, which ruined the excitement for all the fans really. Watching the fight for 8th place just isn't as exciting.

Mansell would've had he not signed for McLaren in '95. Ascari is correct, however I notice it isn't a world championship race that he contested in. Jim Clark won his final F1 race. Ascari also briefly raced in 1995 , so he's debatable unless you're counting full seasons only. I think Clark may be t...

I gave it a 7... it was good for Barcelona, and the first stint was quite exciting.

That being said, a bit was certainly lacking from the racing this time.
