Re: Red Bull gone with the wind?
A hole further up the exhaust pipe would be completely illegal I believe. As for the engine mapping, I think it's more to do with facility they had to reduce the torque the drivers had coming out of slow corners reducing wheel spin thus aiding traction, than anything else. Indeed, I believe a car i...

I think Paddy Lowe is right. Nothing fundamentally wrong with the car. Their drivers are not able to find the right set up and are folding under pressure during races. If they had Alonso for example - he would be leading the championship by a larger margin because he would be able to provide great ...

Re: Paul di Resta split with Anthony Hamilton as manager
Driver drops manager and that means Lewis might be swapping seats ? Come on guys and girls lets not jump conclusions. It could be as simple as Di Resta not thinking he was up to the job anymore (You know like Lewis did) . Can I have a link where Lewis said his dad was not up to the job? Can't be ar...

The best car in the fly away races and all we have to show for it is second place in both championships. Too many mistakes, you do not win championships like that, ever! Every season McLaren make scandalous mistakes in the pits, be it poor strategy calls or poor pit stops. Every season it's more of...

the thing is that we were robbed of a might-have-been a stellar finish! I think that Alonso would have pushed all the way to the flag Not in a million years. Vettel was faster than everybody. Re: Hamilton pit stop
3 places lost in yet another botched stop. This is becoming a serious comedy of errors. Is it time for some heads to roll? For a team like Macca it is totally inexcusable. Long long ago here at the forum I made a public call for McLaren's pit crew to be summarily fired, immediately. I was laughed a...

This was big big mistake, they had 2nd place granted. Now Lewis is just 2 points behind. Still it's just first time when they made mistake this season. I hope they will learn from mistakes. edit: Lewis leads WDC No Lewis is two points ahead

Re: RB8 found running illegal brake cooling ducts
Seems like the hole in the floor was not the only illegal detail that the RB8 was running so far this year. According to this and this , they have been running these illegal brake cooling ducts since the start of this season. Makes you wonder why FIA runs this sport different to others where athlet...

Re: RB8 floor will need to be changed for Canada.
What I don't get is, how it's been here for previous races. It has Passed scrutineering, and then once the teams start complaining about it, it becomes illegal. Surely that's changing the rules mid season or just poor scrutineering I put it down to the poor scrutineering. On the flip side, I'm happ...

McLaren's Jenson Button has said he is 'excited' ahead of his trip to Hungary next week, where he will run through the streets of Budapest in his F1 car. I HOPE NOT! replacing one Massa with another just does not make sense to me. Re: Did China answer the Vettel question?
Vettel had a good race in my opinion, the team gave him a good strategy and helped him out of the quali hole he dug, shame that on the slow down lap he just bitched instead of thanking the team for getting him into some good points. What has been proved is that his 2 championships have been down to...

Saw the Kimi overtake and was looking forward to an overtake on Perez after Vettel came out behind him until Perez ran wide. Relax, almost all teams protested Brawns' diffusers. And Brawn was right that DD was always legal. I don't think he would ever built car around something that is barely legal. His DRS gizmo will be deemed legal. It's not just the outcome that I'm worried about. Its all the distraction we're going t...

I think that Jensen got a slight edge on Hamilton and capitalised on it, Hamilton was very unlucky only that the safety car gave Vettel the edge. GOOD RACING by all three of them
