Vettel fully deserves dotd.
Hulkenberg was quite decent too.
Hamilton was entertaining, but nothing special given his car advantage and the safety car.

Re: France: Vettels 5 Second Penalty
I don’t think he should have gotten a penalty. 1st corner incident. I also think Bottas, could have given him more room. I don't see how that would be possible. Bottas doesn't squeeze Vettel off the track on the run down to T1, he is completely ahead at the 100 metre board and pulls another car len...

IMO, vettel s reaction was totally unprofessional and he deserved the penalty. However, I beleive that Hamilton deliberately braked while exiting the corner knowing that the pack was tightly following. Plus the safety car was quite ahead of him at this point. The FIA and the stewards are inconsisten...

I still don't consider Vettel did anything wrong. He left plenty of room for Ricciardo to make the corner and it was just good, hard racing to me. If he'd shut the door completely it would have been another story, but he didn't. Non-event. Soooooo This! To top the entire incident off, Verstappen cu...

Hamilton could have avoided that , instead of thinking about his season he went for an optimistic gap, assuming that Nico would yield like previous encounters.
On the other hand, it made the race exciting and finally seeing a proper battle for all the top positions was great.

Imo, Ferrari's problem today was down to the strategists. Kimi made it across the line with approx 15 secs ,plus he had traffic in front of him. seems like both Toto and Lauda , are having difficulties replacing Brawn.
in any case Rosberg is clearly their # 2 driver and Mercedes are by far the most dominant package, so Toto should enjoy reflecting on their achievements rather than make useless headlines.

I'm sure that would be pretty degrading for rosberg. Not only can't he win with the same machinery, but he would need help from his rival to secure 2nd.
I think it's possible through team orders after Hamilton mathematically secures his championship.
