In some ways its better to have 2 drivers from the same team going for the title, rather then 2 drivers from different teams.
If we had the latter we would be seeing a lot more team orders right now.

Re: Depressing reading (dominance in modern F1)...
Is it really that much different watching one red bull race one Ferrari to watching two Mercedes race? If this season was full team orders it would be terrible. What about two Red Bulls, two McLarens and one Ferrari? The 'Red Bull domination days' are mislabelled - Hamilton, Alonso and Button each ...

Re: 2016 German Grand Prix Race Thread
Relying on the other driver having bad luck is perhaps not a good way to win? Given the tiny margins that separate the two of them in most races, both of them rely on luck to win. Every race weekend it's on a knife edge who will get pole. It's crucial who leads into the first corner, and who has th...

Re: 2016 German Grand Prix Race Thread
Does anybody actually think Nico can still win it? To have any chance at all he needed to to retain most of that 40 odd point lead. I honestly see Lewis coasting to the title now,Nico is mentally not good enough. Of course Nico can still win. Hamilton starting at the back at Spa and getting in a ta...

Re: 2016 German Grand Prix Race Thread
Gutted for Nico after his brilliant qualifying lap yesterday. Everything went wrong for him today - terrible start, bad pit stop, unlucky penalty, another bad pit stop while taking the penalty, and of course Hamilton winning. He has to keep believing though. The luck will turn again, and Hamilton d...

Re: Bittersweet 6th place
I've said it before and I'll say it again, with 20 years of hindsight, we will look back at the 2015 Toro Rosso rookie lineup as one of the best drive lineups ever. That is my prediction. I think you may be right, which raises an interesting point: has there ever been a rookie lineup where both wen...

What would be good to see is maybe 2 spots on the calendar that have rotating races from places like Imola,Istanbul,Magny Cours etc.

I am no fan of Monza but it would be wrong to get rid of it,it adds alot of historic value to the sport.
I would love to see Imola back but in place of somewhere like Baku.

3 instantaneous 'Rosberg wasn't faster' comments. I kind of saw that coming. Hamilton turned his engine down that's why Mercedes kept asking him to go faster. They kept asking him to go faster because he was going too slowly, do you thing Rosberg squeezed all he could from his own engine? Either wa...

Re: Hardest records to break?
I think Vettel's 9 consecutive wins will be extremely difficult to break. That was a crazy run! I tend to think that Michael's 91 will eventually be beaten but not likely by Hamilton or Vettel. Max maybe if he finds himself in some cushy situations. Fangio's career 46% win percentage will never be ...

And what part of that was part of the "fantastic race ending"? it seemed you where suggesting that affected the outcome, otherwise why mention it?
