They are exciting to watch. Beats the last few years when the midfield could be a bit of a bore. Nowdays you get battles all down the track. I'd imagine Kovaleinen and Petrov have good battles toward the back as well. Good season to be a F1 fan.

I find it amazing drivers like Alonso or anyone else on the grid to have to speak in a secondary language whilst driving. I know they're pretty much fluent in English but must take an amazing amount of brain-power to speak a foreign language whilst concentrating for 70 odd laps

To be fair, Alonso was quite a bit quicker than Lewis and probably would have got the jump on him if the times were identical.

Jenson was his usual classy self. One good season and one undeserved champion doesn't make a great driver. What has happened to the 'smoothest driver on the grid?'
