Re: Red Bull in trouble in Hockenheim? Cars under investigat
Whatever the outcome of the investigation i am sure red bull will appeal it therefore allowing them to race from their original positions. Then sort it out after in the hope that they can talk their way out of it. Not got any real anti red bull bias but it does annoy me that they seem to be the main...

Now that we've established that Lotus' strategist reads this thread, a message to you Mr. Strategist: Put Kimi on Hards for the first two stints and leave the short stint for the very last That's the only way Kimi could climb up I think maybe its time to try the 'undercut' strategy. Too often kimi ...

Tyre temp. Tyre temp. Tyre temp. Tyre temp. no temp = no grip. 4.2 seconds. Thats the difference between the driver who is the best at switching on his tyres, and a driver who is one of the worst. exaggerated by the defficiency the lotus has in this area and the ferrari which is good in this area. p...

Needed to be on inters from start to build heat and confidence. then could have been top 3. Good job though. Definately has the edge on grosjean in wet conditions. Been a while since we have been able to say he has the edge. At the moment bbc weather shows race to be dry. Could/should be a corker.

Just had a guy from bbc radio cambridgeshire on 5live saying she was heading back to the 'garage' (in this case a tent) and was pulling infront of it (as they do before they get pushed back into the garage) when the car suddenly set off again, managed to miss people but hit a truck. Re: Time to start asking questions of Kimi?
Some good arguments on what seems a very common subject. My 2 pence worth is:- Speed is important but is not everything. You can argue A is faster then B and C and support this with data. Then other data suggests B is actually faster then A and C etc etc. I believe that if each driver had their perf...

Re: Camping Silverstone Woodlands - Parking Problems
Maybe to do with ground conditions. Wet muddy ground equals cars stuck. If they are all together on high ground it will be easier to clear i think. Shouldnt be a big problem. A pain in the pickle but what can you do. I once went to motogp at donnington and the same scenario happened. Unfortunatley o...

Re: Time to start asking questions of Kimi?
The main problem for kimi so far is that grosjean has been better at making the tyres last. We know with these tyres that you cannot drive at 100% if you want them to last. At the moment grosjean can drive at the same pace, sometimes a couple of tenths faster then kimi, and make his tyres last longe...

Re: Kravitz said Romain got upgrades not Kimi
Even as a kimi fan i think grosjean probably deserved to get the upgrades from what we have seen so far this season. Kimi has done well but ultimately has not shown the pace or aggression that grosjean is capable of in many of the races. We are seeing the ferrari kimi, which although was (is) very v...

Re: The Official Kimi Räikkonen thread
Very good race from kimi. I think RG could and would have won. kimi lost places at crucial times eg start, pits to alonso and to ham after restart.
This race shows kimi is very good as we know, but why alonso is the best.

Re: What Can Mclaren & Button Learn From Using Hamiltons Set
I think the tyres dictate a lot of how a driver drives. Has always been the case but maybe more so at this time. When i look at hamilton now he doesnt look like the same driver he was. Im not saying he is worse but he just cant drive the same all out attack way and get results. Similar to raikkonen ...

Oh God Kimi could've been third, maybe even second, but a mistake in the last sector meant 5th... Kimi slightly slower on lowish fuel and times seem to drop off more over a long stint then RG.

Agree with those
I would add that, although alonso is the best driver on the grid imo, I dont think the ferrari IN RACE TRIM has been such a bad car this year. Alonso just has that great gift of getting the most from any car, whereas massa needs a good car first.
