Re: It's finally happened...

I'm pretty much in the same boat. On Saturday I was busy with family stuff so I couldn't watch the sprint and TBH i forgot all about it. Then on Sunday I decided to take the dog for a 6 mile walk over the hills and stop in a pub for a pint rather than watch the race. I seem to have lost all interest...

Re: Does anyone actually like Max or Lewis?

So I am a Lewis fan and I connect more closely with how he portrays himself than I do with Max. From what I have seen of Max I find him to be a thoroughly unlikeable character. This has nothing to do with his ability as I don't think you can really question that. To me Lewis seems much more genuine ...

For me it was a hard NO. I love the USA and have been to Florida several times. This race and event were just awful though.Having all those pointless celebs on the grid was just pointless. I remember when Brundle's grid walk used to be interesting. Now there is nobody for him to talk to. The race it...

I loved the new Blade Runner and in my opinion before going to see it, it was not a film that needed to be made. The score was just fantastic and the cinematography was beautiful. I need to go and see it for a 2nd time I think but at an imax screen.

Horizon Zero Dawn is quite possibly one of the most beautiful games that I have ever played and it has a truly engaging story line to boot. Well worth investing in. I tried Discovery but found the first episode to be a bit flat. Having said that though I have it on good authority that it comes into its own by episode 3 so I will go back to it. The Orville seems to be more Trek than Trek so I will be continuing with that and would recommend it to all. However th...

I've actually just sat and watched the video and people are really making a mountain out of a molehill. To me it is just a case of bad banter which isn't aided by language barriers and Romain trying to be a teachers pet.

I'm not sure there is an awful lot he can do other than aim for pole and drive the best race he can. Anything else like backing up the pack or trying to force errors raises the risks that he will cock up himself and give the race, and championship, to Lewis.

I consulted with wise spirits via my Ouija board and they tell me that Fred is going to buy into Sauber and rename the team Nando's Racing. The cars will go Peri Peri fast.

Failing that I see McLaren as his best and most likely option although 3 car teams really would shake everything up.

So is the perception of being a great, and being marketable more important than being WDC? FWIW I think that Eddie did the right thing by speaking out against the booing when he was conducting his podium interviews, but, I believe the fans have every right to cheer, clap or boo as they see fit. F1 would struggle without the fans (as would any sport) and to try and imply that they have no ...

There are a lot of posts saying that the safety car is a lottery and this is unfair. But the SC only comes out after (some) crashes so therefore it is not a constant element of the race. Why not moan about the first corner on the opening lap? That can be a bit of a lottery. Through no fault of their...
