Re: 2024 Junior Series
Tsunoda is more so a Honda driver than Red Bull driver that's not some kind of reveal, that being said what clearly is holding him back at this point is his temperament not his speed. Well, we don’t know that. I am hopeful that Ricciardo makes a discrete exit sooner rather than later and that Lawso...

Re: So... who replaces Lewis at Mercedes?
I know there was one or two opportunities for Hamilton wins if Mercedes had given him better strategies and he might have won in Brazil if not for the collision with Verstappen, I appreciate that non fans could be somewhat oblivious to Mercedes poor strategies and slow pitstops that have been somew...

Re: 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Race Thread
Like I said just laziness, let the sensors do the work regardless of whether they are doing the job properly. Well, it eliminates the human factor. No system or person is infallible and having both in place will lead to protests. Imagine the sensor indicating movement, but not visible on the camera...

Re: So... who replaces Lewis at Mercedes?
Your reference to Germany 2019 not being anything to do with strategy is funny, when Merc put Hamilton on dry tyres as it started raining despite him warning them against it and then when he lost his front wing as a result giving him a 90 second pitstop or whatever it was Not only was Verstappen al...

Re: So... who replaces Lewis at Mercedes?
Oh man, how do you come up with such nonsense? Look, I know it is hard seeing Perez where he is, but he is simply up against a vastly superior driver. You see Verstappen winning in a Mercedes? I see him winning races, just like he did in 2019 and 2020 against cars that had a larger comparative adva...

Re: 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Race Thread
You can just use both surely. It's a bit ridiculous not to penalise a driver everyone very clearly saw move just because the sensor said he didn't. Although I could definitely see an argument for not penalising the sort of thing Norris did as he gained no advantage and didn't do anything unsafe. so...

Re: 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Race Thread
The race was terrible, it's one thing to have a dominant team and a dominant driver but the racing behind was a procession, it seems we are back to dirty air and it being really hard to overtake which these cars were supposed to eradicate, but no the officials have allowed the teams to put things o...

Re: So... who replaces Lewis at Mercedes?
Every day that goes by it seems max to Merc is becoming more likely. For Max to say that he won’t stay at rbr if Marko is let go is huge. Meanwhile Horner says no person is bigger than the team and it seems he believes he can continue to win without Max or Newey. It would be amazing for the sport t...

Would you prefer a title fight or not? Is that even a question? 2023 is the first season since 1999 I have missed multiple races altogether. Its the worst season in the 35 odd seasons I have watched. Absolutely nothing to get excited about and it was so so long, 22 races and 4-5 sprints. 25+ boring...

Re: Your favourite seasoning opening race (since 2000)
Voted 2022:
first race with new regs
Max vs Charles for first time in almost equal cars
Fernando vs Lewis
I think I remember there was only like 1 safety car as well towards the end so the racing was a bit more organic IIRC
I liked 2003 also but there were quite a few SCs

Re: So... who replaces Lewis at Mercedes?
It's hard not to think that the 'Max could go to Mercedes' rumour isn't just another ploy to try and exert pressure on Horner to quit, but if it does actually have some substance and he does have a way out of the contract, it would be astonishing to see him go to Merc. I would also assume that Red ...

Ironically if we believe the rumours, if Horner leaves this may mean Max stays at RB and then personally I see the team failing without CH, whilst at the same time if Horner stays then Max will leave and RB will conti ue to prosper. Seriously I think Horner is absolutely the key to RBRs successes (a...
