Sprint race at Silverstone. 2021
https://racer.com/2021/03/11/silverstone-to-hold-f1-sprint-race-this-year-canada-still-tbc/ maybe canadian gp also. f1 isn't saturday night dirt tracking. biggest problem, at least to me, is what happens when there is a big crash in the sprint race? teams don't have a spare they can just wheel out.

the more i think about this, the more this is a fraud to the fans. hey, if liberty had told everyone what they did illegal, and layed out the punishment, fair game. but they didn't. still hard to believe the story though. i would believe someone would have spilled the beans, especially the drivers

Interesting, but not sure I can believe it until a reputable source reports it officially. Until then it's just an unsubstantiated rumour. The mere fact that such rumours have to exist in the first place though is a sad indictment of how poorly the FIA handled this matter. Private agreements that s...

looking for progress on the contract negotiations, plenty of articles out there that toto/ineos/merc (tim) rejected lewis' first offer. it was a big ask from lewis, big, very big. then he rejected tim's offer and there is an end of february date to get it done i would guess it is pretty obvious. the...

i thought verstappen was growing up a bit earlier this year. not anymore. not sure why he seems to be angry so much. or is it just spoiled ? to be fair, kimi may say exactly the same thing at times in his career. but with kimmi there is no malice, no anger, just a statement from someone on an even k...

well, the articles state it is part of ferrari "downsizing" due to the upcoming cap. i would also guess it has something to do with mazepin money coming into haas. haas seem to need a few more ferrari people to help them understand the chassis better. I wouldn't call it a novelty race, it was a wet race, wet races are always good but they're not either novelty races or gimmicks. exactly. a counter question to the op's would be "do people want 21 monaco gp's" (or pick any track) rain has always been a part of racing at some point in the season an...
