Re: 2025 United States Grand Prix FP & Qualy/Sprint Thread
So what are the sporting repercussions Lando is facing that we won’t notice following Singapore? A 1 hp reduction in engine power for the whole weekend? I'm guessing Piastri can call dibs on boxing first. nope, but he gets to go first in line at the McLaren food truck. well, 1st before lando, but s...

see, we don't have appletv, only prime, and we really don't want to end up with a bunch of streaming services. we can pay for them, just don't use them enough. younger folks have grown up with smart phones and watch those tiny screens anywhere, anytime. that's not for me at all. but that is the way...

2026. AppleTv in USA
i get that i am old and have zero interest in watching anything on my phone, or a laptop, etc. but i (and many like me) have been loyal F1 fans since the days of reading about it in a monthly magazine. so, $15.00 a month for apple tv to watch f1 ? pfffft not sure what options i will have next year.

I think it's fine; and Oscar accepted it, showing team spirit and sportsmanship. he should't of have. he's fighting for a wdc. his mentality at this point (and norris also) should be "screw the other guy" you don't become a wdc, certainly not a multiple time wdc winner, without some ruthless, selfi...

max is in a position to exit contractually (obviously would gherkin off rb owners)
or rb has gotten a buyout offer from verstappen, that came with the stipulation, take it or max doesn't drive for you in 26, or fire horner and max stays
big business is brutal and ruthless

Terrible driving from both Norris and Piastri. Yet these are the two drivers fighting it out for the WDC. Not going to be a vintage year by any measure. The value of the team is more important than losing a few tens of millions of dollars with sticking a pay driver in. Long-term value is what the team is worth when it starts winning races and championships. Good luck with that going forward with a 45 year Alonso and Lance Stroll. I am pretty sure a...

Honest question for fans that have been following the sport a lot longer than I have . . . how far back do you have to go to get to a time period where Monaco was a legitimate race? (i.e. cars could race, it wasn't impossible to pass on track.) 20, 30, 40, 50+ years? Yeah this isn't anything new. J...
