Re: The end of Party Mode

I would really have expected Hamilton to end up higher than 7th, so did the lack of engine settings compromise him? Also wasn't Bottas moaning about it being impossible to race with the engine settings he had? So then perhaps F1 has a decision to make, it appears it is possible to slow down a 'too ...

Re: POLL: Hamilton/Giovinazzi penalties

I felt it was a tad harsh but its the rule so it cant really be argued. Imo they should not have pushed the car into the pits (yes I know it was close) BUT it should have been pushed backwards through the barrier. Mag placed his car perfectly for that very thing. Would have meant a VSC or a double-w...

Re: 2020 Italian Grand Prix Race Thread

I don't often vote for the winner as driver of the day, but I did this time. And well in time too. Still, even though I am delighted for Pierre, it's all due to the use of the Spectacle Car. No, it's all due to a multi WDC making a bad error Which he wouldn't have made without the use of the Specta...

Re: 2020 Italian Grand Prix Race Thread

@andrewbensonf1 That's not good. Bottas locks up at the second chicane on the reconnaissance laps and bounces over the kerbs in the run-off area. All looks OK - he runs through the pit lane and back on to track without stopping Via @F1 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EhO4QD4XYAEQVmM?format=jpg&name=medi...

Bottas all 4 wheels off on his fastest lap, bring in a draft of rules that the stewards don't have the competence to police. Yep. Looked awfully like Vettel last year. Didn't check the behind camera. Apparently they only used the onboard camera which as we can see isn't fit for purpose to police th...

Called to the stewards for slow driving in FP3:
Latifi,
Grosjean,
Perez
Gasly
Stroll
Albon
Sainz
Hamilton - but he is 'NOT' under investigation.

The FIA need to sort some maximum lap times out. Some cars were almost stopping just before the bus stop chicane.

Monza next week too, that was a laughing stock last year.
