Re: Perez

I think it's verry difficult to rate these guys, for sure Perez is better than Kobayshi and both the Toro Rosso drivers, but comparing him to Paul, Nico and Maldonado is harder.

IMO

Hulkenberg
Maldonado
Grosjean
Perez
DiResta
Ricciardo

That Williams impressed me the most by its improvement over its 2011 predecessor. It was really unexpected how in the hands of Maldonado it achieved a win and could have achieved quite a lot more

Which car was faster in Austin?

Hi guys, I was wondering which car you think was faster in Austin, the Mclaren or the Red Bull? Normally it is an easy question but it seemed harder to answer at Austin. Vettel secured pole with the Bull but in the race Hamilton was faster. It seemed to me that the RedBull was faster in qualy but Ha...

The more important question is how did Massa not out qualify Alo? He was faster in the first two sectors but then mysteriously lost out in the 3rd sector. Team orders, perhaps?

Re: How do you choose the driver(s) you support?

I chose schumacher because I thought that he was the best, now being young I did not actually witness his domination years of 2000-2004 and all i had was news reports of this great man in a red car winning on sundays untill I started watching f1 in late 2006. His last race before his first retiremen...

Re: Paul Di Resta vs Nico Hulkenberg - who would you rather

It's such a landslide because diresta is allways being hyped up by coulthard and EJ and he has not delivered. And to cap it all off he is really boring and annoying and I can't think of any stand out drive that he has achieved. nico over Paul any day.

Re: Are the drivers at a higher level than the Senna/Prost e

No not in terms of natural ability. I think that likes of Senna and Prost at their peak could easily adapt to the f1 cars of 2012 . Perhaps they would have to get slightly fitter (especially Senna who apparently wasn't verry fit at all). I think that today's cars would be much easier to drive at the...

Re: World's Greatest & Most Beautiful F1 Cars

No, the greatest f1 car ever has to be the Williams FW 14B of 1992! It's active suspension and traction controle was way advanced for 1992 . Nige won 9 races with it and I think it looks pretty in its Canon Blue yellow white livery.

Re: No DRS rule for yellow flags - Whiting

I was disappointed with the bbc bias against Schumacher in this instance, Jake and David made it seem that Schumacher was definitely going to get a penalty for this supposed infringement even after they talked to Ross. this meant that they didn't even consider the achievement of a podium from Schuma...

Artificial rain sounds way better than Pirreli tyres, races would be even more unpredictable and we may even see the back of the field get some wins, imagine Charles Pic getting a win for Marrusia at Paul Ricard, now I wanna see that. :]

Re: Game - 'My Prediction' of tomorrows Chinese GP.

All depends on if Schumacher can get a jump on Rosberg, if he can he will most likely finish on the podium. Im not buying the idea that Kobayashi can jump the Mercs, It's more likely that Kobayashi will have a poor start and kimi and Jenson will overtake him. Further back there could possibly be a c...

What about this idea, give Australia two grand prix. Keep Melbourne as the Qantas Australian grand prix and call Adelaide the Australasia grand prix, then we will have an excuse to scrap the European grand pix in Vallencia.

I read it and am inclined to agree with the article. I supported Kimi back in 2007-2009 and was really shocked at how 2008 went so badly for him. All the articles about lack of motivation were all rubish, were they based on the icecream and steaming drunk incidents? But it was all for the best becau...

Incredibly well done mnmracer. Reminds me of the Zapruder film of the Kennedy assassination. Personally I really dont think it matters. The 2012 Ferrari is an absolute dog and Ferrari have way bigger problems than the Massa/Perrez question. And if Perez goes to Ferrari and struggles to adapt to the car? It potentially ruins his whole career. Ferrari need to swap Massa for Perez immediately

Hi all, this is my first ever new topic.
