drivers are never going to.know how to fix issues if they don't know what is wrong in the first place. The only reason the pits know is because they have a mass team monitoring data in the background. Is it that hard to allow technical advice but not.driving advice. This is a team sport afterall. Some would argue the 5 place grid penalty hurts less the further down the grid you are. I think the points system should be changes so that every starting place on the grid gets points. Makes it more painful for any team to have a gearbox issue. But maybe instead of one driver getting a grid penalty...

Ferrari will use the mediums in practice g merc won't.
They are onky going to need one backup set for the race.

Let's give kimi a couple more races in a car he seemingly likes before writing him off.
However I agree. A competitive driver may end up taking points off vettel but they will be much more useful strategically speaking

1. The softer the compound the closer ferrari are. This may be down to less running time on ss and s by merc during testing and practice. Merc showed pace on the medium tyre which I imagine ferrari will struggle to match. In cleaner air I believe the mercs will have the legs on ferrari and at some t...

A bet on vettel in aus has to be worth it. I think there are going to be two scenarios. 1. Ferrari are close enough on speed to beat merc in races due to better tyre wear. Alison has generally made cars which are kind on tyres and if they have the speed then they are going to be a real threat. 2. Me...

If the rumours that they had am extra 1 to 1.5 sec advantage last year hidden in their sleeves and they've added even more power this year I reckon they are looking to add cooling to really unleash the beast. However, I'm fully expecting ferrari to Match merc in speed and beat them on race pace. Wha...

I think Mercedes will slip backwards.
I think their development will give them issues and the tyres won't allow them to compensate.
So we will only get them dominate at a selection of tracks
Ferrari will be much more consistant and vettel will be wdc

I could be wrong but weren't strategies more varied then. Ie if you got held up you could adjust your fuel strategy.
I dont like refueling but strategy at the moment is non existent. Maybe the tyre changes will allow for that

Free up some of the regs in regards to what can be developed but make it in cost effective areas. Allow a bit more in season testing bit not back to the own track days. Reduce communication to only when they are on the pit straight or in the pits. But my biggest one. Make tyres that can allow full o...

If I was lewis I'd be asking big questions.
Lap nico first is a right, keeping lewis out till his chances were over is wrong.
Seems to me merc don't give two chits about the drivers but only merc. This mentality will see ferrari pass them as drivers lose trust.
