Re: Brawn: Tsunoda F1's Best Rookie for Years

He's definitely better than Schumacher, Mazepin and Latifi. Not at the same level as Russell or Leclerc though in my opinion.

Given Brawn's role these days I can't help but feel that anything he says to the press has some commercial motivations behind it.

Norris. I wasn't expecting him to put Ricciardo in the shade. I was actually a little disappointed with Tsunoda. I think Gasly's 5th place in qualifying showed what that car is capable of and if not for his first lap mishap he would've made Tsunoda's result look rather underwhelming. Still, it's onl...

Re: 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix Race Thread

When you think about it, it is bizarre you're allowed to drive on a certain piece of track unless you're overtaking, in which case it's a no go. Like, what's the logic there? It's so easy just to have a rule that says if you leave the track a certain amount of times you get a penalty. If I were the...

Re: Which team has the biggest driver disparity?

I was thinking the other day that most of the teams have one driver that I would consider to be much better than the other. Alfa Romeo, Alpha Tauri and possibly McLaren are the only teams where I'm expecting the two drivers to be close. Maybe Haas as well if Schumacher takes his time settling in as ...

Re: Button is better than Hamilton in the wet - True or False?

False. Button definitely had a knack for drying conditions but when it was actually raining he tended to struggle. His overall record in rain-affected races is actually very mixed, but I think this idea of him being a wet-weather specialist comes from people tending to remember the good races and fo...

Re: and now an Overtake button?...

If this replaces DRS then I'm completely in favour, it's a far less contrived and lazy solution. I thought the KERS system we had in 2009 was a decent idea in principle, it just didn't deliver because the hybrid element didn't produce enough power to make a difference. With increased electric power ...

Tsunoda was the best of the F2 talent last year in my opinion given that it was his rookie year so I'm expecting him to make a good account of himself in F1. Russell is a no-brainer here. Not entirely opposed to the idea in principle, but I don't see it having the desired effect.
