Re: Whiting admits Vettel penalty ‘very hard’

So you guys really think he did it on purpose to gain advantage? That's pretty much the vibe I get from this whole forum. Er yes, what the hell do you think the punishment was for????? jesus you really are slow arn't you. It's just funny, cause it's not even the surprising considering the hate Vett...

Re: Whiting admits Vettel penalty ‘very hard’

I think it's harsh because Vettel does appear to be jumping out of the way to avoid contact, and in his interviews he has valid points on his view of the situation. But the stewards that have far more info and footage available than we do think he didn't jump out of the way to avoid contact, in fac...

Re: Whiting admits Vettel penalty ‘very hard’

It was harsh yes, but Vettel also could have given that place back. I think a 10 place grid drop in Hungary would have been better.

Re: Which F1 constructor has the fastest car at this moment?

It's hard to say really, they all seem to be strong at different track types, not to mention weather conditions. I think Red Bull are only leading the constructors because both Webber & Vettel are driving very well. They are the only team mates that are consistently in good point positions.

Re: Hamilton unlapping himself

I see it this way: After his puncture (when he wanted to retire) he tooled around out there for half the race, hardly making an impression on the back markers he was with. He had "okay" pace compared to the mid and front of the field, and was obviously faster than the back part of the grid but wasn...

Re: Hamilton unlapping himself

I thought that was a pretty dirty tactic on McLaren's part. There's no "dirty" tactic if it was legal. He didn't break the rules, he wanted to have fun, and he can help his teammate. I'm not sure what's all the fuss about. Of course it is not pleasant, especially for Vettel fans, but that's racing ...

Not going to argue with the penalty but he does make a good point. "I think clearly it's not an advantage if you try to accelerate on the paint rather than on the circuit. I don't believe there is any favoritism at Lotus, that this is just another groundless conspiracy. Just look at the Constructors' Championship, they are in third, which by any standards is darn good. To do that you need both drivers contributing. And neither seems to be in any position to be contes...
