Re: Travel Recommendations: Ireland / Scotland

Ah man, that Scotland trip sounds incredible to me. Inverness is one of my favourite cities. If it's a nice day then just a wander up the river to some small islands is absolutely gorgeous. Near Glencoe there's also a small Nature Reserve that I did my dissertation research in. It has a walk that's ...

Re: Annoyances

When asking for my train ticket yesterday morning I was asked if I wanted a child's fare. When I was explaining this to my French colleague he said it was a compliment. I explained to him that actually, as a 24 year old, being told I look under 16 is not exactly a compliment. Gahh!

Re: Chrismo's Dog House and Beer Garden

I was supposed to be heading to London this weekend with my boyfriend to have scary introductions to his closest friends. Unfortunately he had an accident at work and will be in a burns ward for the next week at least. I was planning on staying up tonight because I've been so interested in the Scott...

Was that the episode with John Sim playing the The Master? I loved that double episode. It was a triple episode I think. Simm was amazing. Anyone been watching the Great British Bake off? Its an odd one this year, but still fun nonetheless Diana, killer of baked Alaska's/dreams! http://m.bbc.co.uk/...

Went to a drive in cinema to watch Sin City 2 last night. Thought it would be a fun date, something a bit different. 5 minutes before we get there I start to feel really sick. Convince myself I'll be fine (sometimes I find mentally blocking out sickness can help) and start to believe I might pull it...

I work in a care home for people with dementia which can be quite depressing at times. Today however I was told I looked lovely, told that someone loves me and given a kiss from two of the residents. I voted English and no. If they vote for independence then I have no problems with that, my no is that I don't think it would make any sense for the Scots to become an independent country at this time.

@Rachie, did you watch The Breakfast Club? I watched it at the weekend and really really enjoyed it.
