Re: Madrid then... Thoughts?

Honestly, who knows. All depends on track I suppose.

Miami is a stinker. Las Vegas was actually really good. But overall F1 cars, as the pinnacle of motorsport, should be on real tracks.

I'd swap ANY street circuit for Bathurst.

Re: Hamilton vs Leclerc

Genuinely going to be one of the most interesting driver battles in a long time. I think Charles will make a huge effort early on to stamp his authority and will likely do better over the first 3-6 races. From then on I think Hamilton will continue to improve and the mind game will begin. There will...

Re: Best team ever

I just tried it on % of max constructor points available and if my sums are right, McLaren take it for '1988 again with 1988 McLaren (199/240) = 83% 2023 RBR (860/1058) = 81% Interesting to hypothesize what RB's tally would be had they had a driver pairing comparative to McLaren 1988. Exactly. Put ...

Re: Japanese Grand Prix RACE Thread.

Digging this one back up. I just logged into PF1 forums for the first time in a long time. And realized it had been 10 years. wow. I also realized this was the last thread I commented in and then stopped, as I did stop watching F1 for a long time. Made me realize that the Bianchi accident obviously ...

For the technical side: Assign the teams a set amount of fuel for the race and then open up the rules a bit. Let them choose the engine configuration they want to run, it's up to them to make it till the end on the given amount of fuel. This - Or even if they wanted to refuel or not. A set of rules...

Re: So... who replaces Lewis at Mercedes?

I honestly think it should be Mick Schumacher. He has been invaluable in the simulator and is already part of the team. Fantastic brand name at a bargain price. It lets Russell be a clear number 1 to see how he does and gives Mick an opportunity to either shine or prove he isn't going to make it in ...

Re: If Vettel Joins New Team in 2015 Would Credibility Be Lo

My view is this. Vettel has always wanted to drive for Ferrari and with Alonso leaving that opportunity opens up. Ferrari get to say they have a 4 time WDC. If he stayed at Red Bull and Ricciardo beat him handily for another season then maybe that Ferrari drive never materialises. I do think his cre...

I wish RBR would take a younger driver. IMO HUlkenberg is the best bet. However, I cannot see them not taking Raikkonen. Him and Vettel get on, and he is definitely faster than Webber. I do, however, think it will begin the end of RBR dominance. Have you ever noticed that Vettel acts like a bit of a...

Satisfying: Hamilton pole position. ended the speculation of whether the move made sense..
Enjoyable: Button and Perez going at it.
Frustrating: Webbers ridiculous fuel shortage.
