Re: Poll: What Should Red Bull Do Next?
Negociations only work if you are willing to walk away. They could always return if the conditions become more favorable again, but those days may be gone for F1.

Re: How would you rate the 2015 Australian GP?
Pretty poor. On the plus side we now know there is a worse alternative to ex f1 drivers doing podium interviews..... Current drivers. Damn that was hard to watch. They need to stop doing that garbage and go back to proper interviews. Kudos to you both for watching the race to the end, I could not s...

Do they have a monkey throwing darts for setting the price on this thing? Two years ago it was ridiculously expensive, last year it was much more reasonable but now the price has tripled again. Bit disappointed to be honest. I agree completely. I just got the update on my iPad and it now has the pr...

After that, autonomous driving cars. Might as well. My thoughts exactly. Active suspension depending upon implementation rules could lead to function traction control. Folks are excited to see some sliding around this season that would put an end to that again, drivers could just hammer the corners...

I can not believe this double points rule is still alive. I thought it was a stunt to keep fans interested during the off season. The reality that a random mechanical failure could change the championship after a season of racing is bad for the sport. No, no make it go!

Hankook was pushing to get a deal if Pirelli was not renewed, I would expect them to be the likely replacement. Heck maybe their negociations are keeping the Pirelli contract in the air.

For the last race some teams were running with lighter fuel loads for race day to try to minimize tyre wear. They were talking about that during the broadcast. They took a gamble hoping for a few flags to slow the pace to make up the difference.
All goes back to the marshmallow tyres.

The spot light on this site seems to be on Vettle but I was actually hoping Nico would pass Lewis more for himself and his career. Nothing new really this is still related to the tyres. Everyone from teams to drivers are out tere managing their tyres which is not new either it all comes down to how much of their energies need to go into managing their tyres. This race highlighted the fragile nature of the tyres resulting in tea...

Fun race with the drama at the end. Would have been rather boring if the Redbulls didn't stir things up at the end. The controversy pulled the attention away from how dominant the tires were that session.

I am expecting 2013 in the end will have the same top four teams battling it out, in no particular order, Red Bull, Ferrari, McLaren, Lotus. We may even see Red Bull win it all again as the last season of the V8 era.
I expect the majority of the 2013 season to be focused on the 2014 rule changes.

I voted Mercedes without question. With Brawn at the helm, Mercedes AMG finance and engineering, top tier drivers in the seats, on paper they should be a solid #4 in the constructors pushing for #3 or better. Instead they are possibly going to drop to #6 by year's end. As I have mentioned before, I ...

I may look at this differently, but I feel Michael's woes are becoming a glaring embarrassment for Mercedes, not a reflection on Michael. It's Brawn and company that have to be feeling incredible pressure to perform. I hope Mercedes is not embarrassed out of F1 due to their blunders.

Well walking away from the table is always a valid negotiating tactic. I certainly hope Bernie will work with Mercedes to address their concerns, I do not want to see them leave. Ideally I'd like to see Mercedes and BMW back into the sport. The direction of F1 towards a more pay-per view model I wou...
