Re: 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix Race Thread

I must say, it's very sad for Vettel and AM, but it's not a tricky rule to follow and rules are rules. Just one of those things.

Just like DQs for cars running aero pieces that are too big or whatever.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's an appeal over that.
Don't see how they can. The FIA attempted to remove enough fuel and managed 0.3l. Aston Martin were allowed, with the FIA watching on, to attempt to remove more but failed to get enough. Game over, I'd say.

What a stupid rule, unless someone can explain to me why its important 1 litre remains Fuel has to be tested post-race to ensure it's legal. Rather than rely upon droplets of fuel, the FIA state that a fixed amount has to be left as a minimum. It happens to be 1l but the required amount doesn't rea...

Isn't there always a 15 minute warning before the race restarts anyway? So even if it was cleared in 30 seconds we'd still have the 15 minute warning? Yes. F1 cars can't simply be restarted when required. Teams are given time to ensure all the fluids are set and up to temperature before firing the ...

Hamilton should work for Quikfit. You drive in with knackered tyres on your car, he tells you they are knackered and you magically drive out seconds later, with perfect tyres. No cost!
