Possibly a red herring & if memory serves me correctly.
I know the constructors hadn’t been inaugurated at the time & disregarding Indy, Alfa won every race in 1950 & Ferrari every race in 1952 so can they be considered for best team.

Re: 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix Race Thread
Been following F1 for a few years now & there have always been periods of car dominance. The first 2 years it was Alfa, then during the 2 litre year it was Ferrari Then when it was 2.5 litre it was Merc & that was only the first 6 years. Then when the rear engine cars came in it was Brabham & the Co...

I think the iconic Murray referred to him as Taki Intheway. If I remember correctly he managed to hit the course car in Monaco & once even got run over by the safety car. I would find it funny, but he broke his leg, didn't he? Hungary I think. But was good enough to make the next race. I couldn't r...

I haven't voted as the driver I have supported for the last number of years, Seb, has left the grid. I was only ever a fan of one driver, JMF, as I saw him, drive when I was quite young. This makes me wonder: we know they didn't (at one point, at least) have a national anthem for every nation, so what nation's anthem would have been most likely to be brought to every track but never used? I wonder would this go some way to explaining Nando's attitude to & apparent dislike of Seb especially under blue flag conditions.

What are some opinions you have about F1 that the majority of this forum likely doesn't agree with? IMO, Max Verstappen is already the best driver on the grid. While watching the race I kept thinking of Boutson & Senna in 1990 & how Thierry held him at bay for the whole race.
I know Kimi didn't didn't have a serious go at Seb but I'm sure lewis was giving his all to pass Kimi.
I think it might have helped Kimi getting DRS a lot of the time behind Seb.
