Re: Official Max Verstappen thread
If Verstappen ever won a title like Prost did in 1989 I would disappear from this forum forever, and I am not even talking about the Suzuka incident, but rather his pathetic pace relative to his teammate. He wasn't as good as Senna who is higher on the all time list than Verstappen, in 1990 he took...

Re: Official Max Verstappen thread
The average quality if Verstappen’s titles is of a significantly higher level than anyone else with 4 or more. Basically all four of his titles are in the same conversation as anyone else’s best. Prost beat Senna in the same car, he also beat Lauda, Piquet, Mansell and Rosberg, two were teammates, ...

Re: F1 Trivia
Has there ever been an F1 weekend where qualifying didn't happen because of the weather (or some other reason)? Last weekend there was talk of how the grid would be set without qualifying but wondering if there's ever actually been a need to set a grid from something other than qualifying. I donlt ...

I think you have to read more carefully. What I wrote is that it would have been in character. It's proposing that he had a say in his strategies. I have zero doubt he had a say in his strategies. What cannot be determined is whether he contributed to those discussions from the cockpit. For what it...

Nice back handed compliment there. :) I am just being realistic here. Any wet weather masterclasses from Russell you're ready to share? Except for that one swallow of course. I picked Max, he was flawless as was his behaviour. I think that can be rated one of the great F1 drives even if some of the breaks came his way. So often he doesn't get DOTD even having put in a stellar drive. Also Ocon & Gasly, not sure if the Alpine was suited the conditions or they are good wet ...

Looking forward to this one, I like the circuit and the races it has produced. I like the track, but is a tad short for my taste. I will look at that again if you wish, and offer an opinion. If it is the case (we don't really know, do we?) that the stewards let teams deal with intra-team collisions, then I would prefer them to make that clear. But my question was why they didn't take action in the Hamilton/Sainz case. That's ...

Any of the old races would be great to see from on-board footage. But as you say, having a closer look at how accidents came about would possibly be the greater benefit. I believe that was a Max win, not an RB win.
When you see how close all the parings on the other teams are & the disparity between Max & Segio it puts it into perspective for me.
Sergio is a 6 time race winner, once in a Racing Point, so he's not a bad driver.

I have followed the bikes just as long as I have followed F1.

Michael equalled his uncle Joey’s record today for most TT wins.
Also a good win for Pecco today at Mugello.
My favourite rider was Ago who I met twice.

If you have data that contradicts his opinion, I'd recommend saying so explicitly and presenting your own researched data. Otherwise, it's opinion vs. opinion. This just gets tiring... I have to admit when I saw him spear off in front of Michael I wasn't overly concerned as Gerhard & Nelson had done something similar 5 & 7 years earlier without such a devastating outcome.

I know the constructors hadn’t been inaugurated at the time & disregarding Indy, Alfa won every race in 1950 & Ferrari every race in 1952 so can they be considered for best team.
