McLaren-Honda still not good enough for making it into Q2. Alonso just made it in on P15 in Q1, but it was only thanks to one Ferrari and one Williams having the issues. Verstappen to have a 15 place grid penalty. I doubt Nasr and Button will qualify, so that leaves 18 cars and three cars will be out after Q1. Why will Verstappen not qualify into Q2? He has to try and qualify as high as he can really as if he doesnt take all of his 15 places in penalties during qua...

Re: What defines a "dog" of a car?
I think it is one of those sayings that defies its own definition. Dogs can be very well trained but in this connotation I think it refers to a dog that wont do what you tell it to. A dog of a car is one that doesn't respond to driver input predictably IMO.

Not really opposed to the engine freeze lift but I am opposed to rule changes mid season. There was a much better case for the EBD ban as it was actually close to an existing rule but the engines? mercedes fully deserve to be in the situation they are in now. Leave the rules as they are for the two ...

The tyres were the reason for a fairly boring race. Jenson Button alluded to this in his post race interview, "Like the old days, softer tyres would have made it more interesting, more options for strategy"

It seems that Vettel used a get out clause in his contract that stated if he wasn't 3rd or higher in the championship on September 30th 2014 then he could leave, but he is the one who has struggled with this years Red Bull so it's his fault that he is behind both Ricciardo and Alonso so surely the ...

Thought is Hamilton would love it if data sharing was stopped. But Merc want both their drivers at the fastest they can be so that won't happen. They enjoy a huge margin of dominance though so the extra few tenths the data share gives them would still give the 1-2 finishes surely? Not to mention th...
