Re: Is Di Resta being groomed to replace Brundle?
I didn't think I'd enjoy Di Resta's commentary at all, I've always found him pretty boring. But I kind of enjoyed it. As someone above mentioned, his commentary is pretty to-the-point which makes it feel like he gets a lot of good points in. And this is coming from one of Brundle's biggest fans, I a...

Rory Reid is a strong presenter, I used to watch his CNET videos back in the day. His style is very straight with a bit of dry humour, I think he'll do well. I haven't heard of Harris but I see no reason for the show to fail based on it's lineup. I think many people are of the opinion that "it isn't...

The promoters did an awesome job with the podium ceremony, and the crowd were amazing. You can really see why people moan about the desert races with no atmosphere!

What if Brawn didn't exist in 2009 because noone bought the team? Button and Barichello probably wouldn't have ended up on the grid. Toyota picks up a race win at Bahrain and many more points throughout the season, leading to them staying in 2010. Vettel and Webber fight all season long for the cham...

this has been tried and failed. Great concept great idea but it won't work for 1 reason. F1 the rights to the name F1 belong to the FIA and I think the FIA gave all rights (marketing etc) to Bernie (CVC) with a long term contract something like 99 or 999 years some crazy term. Maybe I'm crazy but I don't see the car on the left as inferior. It's taller and more imposing. I wouldn't go so far to say as I prefer it, but I can live with either. I think both look better than the high nose cars we had in the mid 90s and 2010-2013.

Going from a year old Ferrari engine to a new Merc engine is going to be mega for them. They seem to make reasonable cars with their budget anyway and they're not a million miles off the tail end of the field anyway. On power circuits they should be mixing it with the older teams.

Allow teams to test where they want over the winter, and for as long as they want. Ferrari can use their own test track whilst Silverstone would be the best location for the British-based teams, although there are alternatives. If the track was a straight line a car that was far enough behind to be lapped on a normal track wouldn't be close enough to figure. On that basis I completely support the blue flag rule. A driver shouldn't be penalised (more than having to overtake lapped cars penalises you anyway) because he happe...

When you look at Force India, and where they reached a season or two ago, you have to look at Sutil and realise that apart from his year-long suspension he took them from the equivalent of Marussia into being a solid midfield team that has on occasion done well. The entire Ferrari team seem intimately more likeable than they did in 2015. Vettel and Arrivabene have brought a lot of humanity back into the team. I thought it was great for F1. Arnie said to Brundle on the grid that he was a general fan of F1 and he was definitely respectful to the drivers and funny to boot. I voted for the sexist sounding option because it best for what I thought. That carries the usual caveat of "we don't know what fuel loads she was running" etc, but...

Who is Williams' reserve driver, btw? Susie Wolff or Alex Lynn, depending on who they choose. If he can't make the next race I would love to see Wolff in the car, aside from the testing crash with Nasr she's looked pretty competent when she's driven. Lynn will get his time in F1 no doubt.
