Re: Ferrari/Mercedes has the faster car? (post barcelona &

I wonder how Rosberg would be fairing if he decided not to quit. Personally I think Rosberg would have locked out the front row a few times with Hamilton, aiding Hamilton win another race or 2.

Re: 2017 Australian Grand Prix Free Practice & Qualifying Th

I highly doubt the Mercedes is turned up to full whack. Its probably out putting about 85% power, about defcon 2. As this is the first race its a chance to size up the competition without showing your complete hand. Mercedes out putted enough power to remain on top, while the rest of the field showe...

I think Rosberg has to finish the title race early, otherwise he will regret it. If its leads on to AD I see Hamilton taking the title. A front left wing to back rear tyre should sort it out for Rosberg.

Who is to say they are anywhere near the limit yet? Merc will dominate the season. There's this idea that lack of tokens allows everyone else to close up but how do we know that Mercedes don't have sone engine that is a huge upgrade on what they have just now that they just can't implement under the...

Yes I was joking :D But what you are referring to is the other version of VTEC which is going from economy cam to normal cam. While the other version of VTEC which you see in Type R and NSX is where the engine goes from normal cam to performance cam. Am sure if VVT was allowed in F1 then Honda would...

What tread, they are slicks. Let's do it ! ;-) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/34313145 Couasnon said there had been confusion over what Michelin meant when it said it would produce a "durable" tyre. "We mean a tyre that you can push to the limit for a given time," he said. While the Pirelli t...

Not a fan of those sound like a loud fart after a long night on the curry. F1 cars are meant to be screaming, which the current engines dont seem to do. I think this very high pitched and very loud screaming sound are overrated. Lets take a look at the huge engines. I think the bigger they are the b...

How do you know this? Just raise the revs back to 16-18k. Right now the sound is horrible not because of volume but quality. It does not sound like the engine is being stressed to its limits, which it isn't. This is the first time F1 has sounded like this; Tame, boring, slow. It needs to change asap...
