Re: Watching in pubs
I didn't mean to come across as arrogant but I can see why you thought that. If people want to gain a wider knowledge of F1 and don't want to come across as a newbie to the sport then they can go away and google questions and get good and reasonable answers. A few of the people I referred to as fans...

Re: Jules Bianchi Update Thread [Split Thread]
Its very positive news, things could have been much worse in these crucial few hours after the accident. Unfortunately we now have to wait as the next few hours/days are crucial to the rest of his life and career.

Re: Adrain Newey's next move?
I thought it had been established by Newey himself that he is off to design America's cup race yacht(s) but will still be working as an advisor to RBR? Newey has said for many years that he would design yachts after he was finished with F1. He has also refused a position at Ferrari many times (and ...

Re: The Official Gaming Thread
So I cancelled my preorder for Watch_Dogs earlier, Ubisoft are doing themselves no favours when it comes to the Wii U and Nintendo. I'm going to wait and see what reviews are like for F1 2014, got to say it looks pretty decent from gameplay I've seen online. Tyre wear seems pretty decent for the pla...

I'm not quite sure why people would think that Vettel would waltz (not literally obviously) onto the podium if he was not entitled to be on the podium.

I know if I were involved anyway in the sport and could be there I would be there. The show of support on twitter is overwhelming, I see a couple of trends on twitter such as #ForzaJules and #PrayforJules. He's getting support from his friends and colleagues and people the world over.

Re: Japanese Grand Prix RACE Thread.
I don't think they confirmed it, just said it could be to do with head injuries and changes in pressure when flying above a certain level, as they pointed out though the helicopter probably wouldn't have got to those heights. I'm not sure to think of that as good or bad

Re: Jules bianchi Japanese grand Prix aftermath thread
The Finnish TV Commentator Toni Vilander, who is an accomplished driver himself, said IMMEDIATELY after they put up the yellow flags that this is clearly not enough at this situation, as any one can spin at the same place again with serious consequences. Unfortunately this is exactly what happened....

Driver unconscious and evacced through ambulance. heli can't operate with weather conditions. If heli can't operate why the hell are they racing? Because they are very close to the hospital so it won't take longer by Ambulance. No. If the helicopter can't fly they shouldn't be racing. I agree, last...
