Two and a half years later and we still have a championship that decided not by racing, but by a manipulation of the rules.
It was wrong, and remains wrong.

There is insufficient spectator side staff for them to remain their safely. I assume it will be some working regulations issue, staff will have been on duty for hours, and now finished for the day.

The only one not pleased in the entire Red Bull camp with Checo's victory was Jos. Did you guys see his face? Seemed he wanted to murder someone there & then! That was pretty disgusting from Jos, he really does come across as a horrible person, that's a level of unsporting behaviour the team could ...

Re: Rumour: Mattia Binotto to be replaced by Fred Vasseur as Ferrari TP
They lose a great engineer and a poor team manager. They should have kept him as engineer. Binotto hasn't designed any aero or engines for a very long time. He's literally a team leader but has failed at the TP level where he succeeded at the departmental level. He was promoted out of technical rol...

I think with Mick it’s more to do with not displaying any potential beyond being a decent driver, it’s clear that whilst he’s ok, he’s not his dad. I think some of the the expectations laid on him have been a bit unrealistic.

The fact that the penalty applies to the 2023 season is ridiculous, the indiscretion occurred in 2021. The penalty needs to be applied to the period in which there was a benefit.

Re: How many races/WDCs will Max Verstappen win?
I'd say he has another 2 at least, but so much depends on the car, the team, the competition, and rules. In a few weeks he may be back down to zero again (cost cap breach), which would most likely impact future car. I'll say 4 with up to 60 wins, I'm not sure he'll hang around as long as some drivers.

The contact was substantial enough to damage and cause punctures to both cars involved, ruining the race of the car not at fault. I am surprised that Russell was not punished for the move on Schumacher though. I'm not sure I get that there was a need to punish, they barely touched, Georges fault yes - but the contact was minimum. The tyres brushed against each other, and unfortunately led to the puncture. No need for kangaroo...

One positive about the leak is that it will be less easy to brush it under the carpet.
You have to question, if those who leaked the info suspected any wrong doing would not make it into public domain.

As much as it would favour Red Bull, I am in favour of the FIA mandating that cars shouldn't bounce as much as Mercedes and Ferrari are doing. Those two in particular are going to cause permanent spinal damage to the drivers. Other teams have proven they can run with minimal porpoising, albeit at th...
