Re: Did Button Stop to Avoid Being Lapped On-Track By Hamilt

I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm really tired of hearing excuses. That car in Hamilton's hands would have at least finished in top 10. That car in Massa's hands would have finished top 10. That car in Di Resta's hands would have finished top 10.

I'll keep praying!

For the 2nd time this week Mclaren management team spent their time pushing back against criticism of tardiness, first was Neal had to deny that they are falling behind ,and that Button falling behind is because he was being UNLUCKY,now he is having a swipe at Garry Anderson for critisizing them. There are clips out there where they were busting each other up. Hamilton says "you're gonna break it" as Tony tried to fit in the cockpit....

Then when Lewis was in the NASCAR, Tony says "You need a couple of phone books under you"....

Re: The Official Jenson Button thread

This is easily Jenson's worst season in a competitive car in his career. This weekend he looked hell awful. I know McLaren messed up by pitting him when he did. But he just looks slow, clumsy and a bit lost really. I guess the one saving grace is that is surely can't get any worse than this. It's i...

My first experience was the 1970 United States Grand Prix in Watkins Glenn, NY- USA. I was six years old. Still remember bits and pieces. Emerson Fittipaldi had a late refuel to get ahead of Pedro Rodriquez for the win. Here's a minute recap...good stuff. The cars were so ugly they were beautiful. h...

Surely Mercedes lack of racepace is due to them not being able to use their 'DRS Duct' on every straight like they can in Quali, or am I just making this up? Absolutely agree, they can use their "gizmo" all through Quali- but only in limited fashion during a race...so a real lame duck in any case c...

I agree that once a driver chooses his racing line to defend to the corner he is obligated to his maneuver. Allowing to change is effectively allowing to swerve...which is bad form.

It seems understandable now why Redbull wanted special testing dates. The are bringing in a completely new car to test the last two days at Barcelona. Incredible.
