Re: Paddy Lowe to Mercedes "a done deal"

Look at the headline of that article then. Merc is in the quote marks there. Seriously Johnston you're just wasting everyone's time here. Then show me where Neale said it. Which Headline. I have posted the actual Quote and Neale didn't mention any team by name. Neither Lowe, Neale or Mercedes have ...

Re: If 2009 reg changes hadn't occurred would Vettel be a 3x

I don't think we would have seen much change at the top if no rule changes. I would also say that it wouldn't be so much just the 2009 rules but also the 2010 refuelling ban and the Quali changes played into the hands of some and away from others. Red Bull have seemed to get a handle on the weight i...

OK Johnston, that wheel you see there is the one ripped off in the initial impact. That, as has been proven by MANY stills above, went THROUGH the fence. At that stage the car still has 3 wheels attached, so you can't argue there's a second wheel involved either. Here all I was saying was there was...

Re: Paddy Lowe to Mercedes "a done deal"

No mention of any team name. @Nike IIRC it was Toto Wolff that let the Williams out of the bag. Although he concedes McLaren will miss Lowe, Neale says Mercedes offered an "exotic salary". Looks like a team name to me. As for citing the rules, that's there to stop members hurling abuse at each othe...

Re: Paddy Lowe to Mercedes "a done deal"

There's nothing left to debate in terms of will he/won't he. I thought I even saw yesterday that Lauda said Lowe's joining the team wasn't meant to be a threat to Brawn, but I may be mistaken on that, it was only a tweet. It's getting tiresome watching you argue with everyone when there is all but ...

Okay then bring me a source that 100% confirms it and is official not based on "My Sources say" "Deal done in Principal" or "Insiders say" or similar.

something that bona fide says from Merc or Paddy that he is on his way to Merc.

McLaren got caught with their pants down too. They've lose two big names in less than 6 months because they were stalling around them.
