Red bull filming
On sky f1 last night they said all teams were packing up except red bull as they are doing a few days of filming. They said they are doing some filming in the new car and some in the old car but it's still 1500km worth of running. What does this mean, I'm guessing it's for promotional stuff, but wha...

Callander and FIA cost cutting
This is something that I have thought about for a few years. But can anyone tell me why the Calender has been set out with some gp's locations so far from each other. With the FIA wanting to reduce costs then why don't they create a calender that keeps the travel distances smaller. One of the bigges...

Re: How can we petition to ban these podium interviews?
People moan about the drivers not being amongst the fans and the first think that tries to change that everyone moans about. I prefer the drivers being interviewed in front of the fans instead of whisked away and hidden in a press box for the interviews. It's not the fact that we don't want it, onc...

Re: How can we petition to ban these podium interviews?
To me they feel uncomfortable because the guys they get are talking too much in a language that isn't there first. To me they should get someone as a permanent interviewer and is Comfertable at interviews and speaks English. All we need is "great win! How does it feel?" and then similar short questi...

Re: The best an worst team principles...
On the red bull fron I can't tell if Horner is a good team principle or if Newey is that good at making cars. Whitmarsh had a hard time at the start of the season but seems to be turning it round Worst team principle has to go to Flavio Briatore, I know he Lead the team to 2 WDC and 2 WCC titles but...

Basically that Maldonado is dangerous and has no respect for other drivers out and ruins people races and the stewards ...

Re: Silverstone Race Thread
Loving that cable cam on the run up into the old pit straight, getting some great shots into those few corners.
Also its good to know that the drivers are voicing their concerns on Pastor, even if he had nothing to do with today's crash the stewards and FIA should be keeping an eye on him.

Re: Stopping after a race
...solution may be to have a seperate tank on the car with a one-way valve, so that fuel drains into a 1kg tank for fuel testing. Best suggestion yet. ...if it had been any other drive that did this who finished in front of vettel then would that mean you would be posting the same question? Yes, I ...

Re: Stopping after a race
Lol, all the haters are out! I got a question for them. You'd like a win taken away on a technicality? I know having a liter fuel left and going all the way around is in the rules, but the reason to stop can be as simple/necessary as a gear box was showing high temps, or whatever the engineers dete...

Re: Stopping after a race
Surely if the reason for pulling over is because they were running too low on fuel then wouldn't that mean that if there had been a long stint behind a safety car then surly that would have jeopardised the whole race with them having to stop or worse putting other drivers at risk if they cut out hal...

Stopping after a race
Ive often thought this when I see teams come over the radio telling their drivers to pull over after the race has finished. I know sometimes we dont see the reason but surely there should be some form of penalty for voluntarily pulling over. Obviously sometimes there are reasons for them doing so du...

Re: Kovalainen to replace Massa
If I was Domenicalli, I'd sack Massa and stick Di Resta in there straight away. If I was Domenicalli I would sack Alonso! He's hurting the team with his me, me, me attitude and does nothing but burry team mates (Lewis was lucky that he was in mclarens future vision) It pains me to see Massa go from...

Re: Sky Coverage v BBC Coverage
I really did enjoy the beebs extended coverage today, I only saw the post race of sky when I poped into my mates house and thought the main presenter looked a little lost and I've always thought hill was a little poor with interviews so why put him as a presenter. But I can't really bash the sky bro...
