Re: 2020 Bahrain Free Practice & Qualifying Thread

Albon gets a lot of stick but he is well up there with Verstappen, Hamilton and Bottas in third practice. I don't really mind hime crashing, though I don't have to rebuild the car. At least he is going for it!
We'll see in Quali of course.

Re: Is Hamilton ruining Max’s legacy?

All getting a bit odd now, I really think all eyes are focussed on why Verstappen isn't a WDC. Take a step back and consider this. If Ferrari had a Honda engine in it this year Verstappen would be battling Leclerc to get on the podium. Why does everyone fall over MV and ignore CL. Its as though he ...

A reminder of Hamilton's F1 debut, in Q3 he was carrying more race fuel than Alonso which was the tendency in the first part of the season, how I hate race fuelled qualifying.

And Rosberg requesting a 700 page document to get up to speed with Hamilton isn't an example of mind games, it's an example of Rosberg's tenacity and ambition to beat Hamilton. It's one thing to receive a 700 page dossier on Hamilton's driving and entirely another to successfully impliment its find...

Re: Which of Schumacher's remaining records will Lewis break?

I don't think this has been mentioned previously: If Lewis goes on to win the 2021 title as well, he will equal Schuey's record of five consecutive World Drivers Championship titles. I think 2021 is pretty much a given for Lewis given how stable the rules will be for next year; the cars carrying ov...

Re: Is Hamilton ruining Max’s legacy?

Verstappen has been in F1 6 years now, after the same time Hamilton had won a world title nearly two. He then started his wining run with Mercedes. For me there is something missing with Max Verstappen, he should have won more races in my view. You can say its the car but look at what Schumacher did...

Re: 2020 Turkish Grand Prix Race Thread

I think the one factor that wins Hamilton races more than any other is his tyre management. Vetttell said after the race that he, and I'm sure many others, were just waiting for Hamilton to pit for tyres. Probably hoping that they would get the same drop in performance as Stroll. He didn't and even ...
