If I was going to bet would probably go for someone a lot longer than those choices, force india or sauber maybe just because it is that unpredictable how many will actually last the distance

Re: Points for Marussia?

I have a 50 euro bet on them to score point(s) in Melbourne. That's an interesting idea. What odds were being offered for that? On oddschecker it is about 7/1 for Bianchi to score, ridiculously short! Should be at least 30 but the bookies have no clue just like the rest of us as to what will happen

Re: Is part of the 2014 regulations going to end quali farce

One thing I have thought this year is - why have 20 mins for Q1 when we pretty much know who is out, how bout 10 mins for Q1 would get it out of the way quick and also increase the possibility of a shock result, 20 for Q2 where its most competitive and 15 for Q3 with an extra set of tyres allocated ...

This would sort it:

If any team releases a car with a wheel nut missing then both cars are instantly DQ'd from the event.

Mysteriously you would never see a loose wheel again!!

Hang on so they have just had the British Grand Prix and then this weekend they have had to relocate over to the Nurburgring then they are coming back to Silverstone for the YDT! Well that sounds very cost effective!
