Re: Who will win between Vettel and Raikkonen?
If Seb and Kimi look similar it will be even more evidence of how good Alonso is. Unless Button pulls one on Alonso, in which case questions will be asked about him too. Looking forward to those two inter-team battles, hope Kimi and Jenson can make this a season to remember (and save their F1 caree...

If he wins Monaco and in Austria, then YES! I can see him being much quicker than Nico in Montreal, Silverstone, Hockenheim and Hangaroring and I don't see Red Bull being close enough at those tracks either.

Re: Could Alonso have raced Rosberg?
Rain is the only hope for teams if they want to win a race Pretty much yeah. But Monaco might just be the exception. Red Bull's superior traction could give them the edge there and Mercedes's straight line speed would mean little. Mercedes would still be the faster car overall but if Red Bull can l...

Re: Rosberg perhaps feeling a little demoralised?
I may be wrong but I believe Nico's pace advantage in Bahrain was due to the tyres and can be traced back to Lewis's DNF in Melbourne. Nico was quicker than Lewis on the soft tyre in Q2, Q3 and the first stint of the race, but did not have much of an advantage, if any, on the medium tyre. This may b...

If one looks at the period from 2010 to 2013, Red Bull were always having KERS issues, and the Renault KERS was said to be less powerful compared to Mercedes and Ferrari. I might dare say Renault never quite got on top of their KERS issues in 4 years and now they have started the new era on the back...

Re: 2014 Teammate Battles
Rosberg's best chance to beat Hamilton was last year. The W04 was effectively 'Rosberg's car' and yet as it turned out, Lewis still managed to beat him in his own car. With rule changes in 2014, any advantage Nico had from last year's car is gone. I expect Lewis to come out on top even more convinci...

Rosberg has a good recent record in China, but Lewis is no slouch there, either. Only guy to have won the race more than once, been on pole twice, and has a total of four podiums, including finishing in the top three every year since 2010. Basically, assuming Merc is quick, then I'd expect both guy...

I'd say just bring back the Bridgestones. I don't care if drivers only stop once during the race, that will mean more action on the track. The excuse about procession racing, please! Thats why we have DRS now in the first place and it works. I don't like DRS that much myself, but I think its a shame...

Alonso: He has the points in the bag, and good consistency on his side. The car is not bad either. Lewis : He has the car to beat right now, momentum on his side, and something to prove. Vettel : Very consistent even without the best car. Considering he has won only one race and did not score in 3, ...

Which is probably correct; i.e. it will rain at some point on those given days, for example in the morning. The events of last weekend have again highlighted the importance of safety in F1, but more than that IMO, the danger of La Source as the first corner at Spa. Raikkonen's apparently impressive return to F1 has arguably been flattered by two factors: an eminently capable E20 and a team-mate whose propensity for mishap has thus far masked his speed. But if Kimi is beginning to compare poorly with Romain Grosjean on days when the Frenchman keeps his nose cl...
