Agree with making the cars smaller in general.

Remove engine modes, spec mug-h.

Restrictions on area of the car a team can develop, the higher up the standings the less parts of the car you can develop after itnial testing.

$250 million budget cap. If teams want to go over that let them. They pay a 30% tax on every dollar over the cap that they spend which gets given to the bottom 3 teams in the constructors championship. Want to Spend $650 million? Go for it.. but your getting taxed an extra $120 million which is goin...

I support what I call a soft Budget cap. $200 million but for every $1 spent over that teams pay a 10% tax into a tax pool dividend amoung the teams at the end of the season. Could even put it on an incremental scale. >$200m 10% tax >$250m 12% tax >$300m 15% tax Etc. not enough of a hit. Let's say ...

Surprises of the session seem to be Red Bull (who would have guessed Verstappen to be so close to the top?) and Renault (who would have guessed Ricciardo to be so far behind?). I suspect (read: hope) Renault were performing heavy runs for much of the session, though. Ricciardo had his best lap spoi...

Re: 2019 Pre-Season Testing Thread (Updated with Test 2 Line

Sainz's run today brings up an interesting question. It's the first time a team has admitted to running a qualifying simulation (and probably the actual first, unless Renault's 17.3 was also a quali sim), so we now have a comparison to what McLaren did in qualifying last year. Interestingly, the C4...
