I can't remember exactly, but didn't kvyat get really close to a ban at one point?

Re: How many times (if any) do you think race ban should have occured since Spa 2012?
It's worth remembering that Grosjean didn't simply get a ban for his move in Spa in isolation. It was his fourth first lap crash of the season and the second time he'd crashed into cars alongside him on the way down to turn 1. I can't think of any single crash which deserved a race ban since. Gasly...

How many times (if any) do you think race ban should have occured since Spa 2012?
I've been thinking about this for several years now but never got round to creating a thread. Are there any occasions where you think a driver should have received a race ban since Grosjean got one? It could be cause by anything - such as a build up of too many penalty points. This one especially sh...

Re: PF1 Forum teammate wars vote: Saudi 2024
Most were pretty straight forward for me. Verstappen, Leclerc (Bearman had a great debut, but in no way out performed Charles), Russell, Piastri, Alonso, Albon, Yuki, and Hulk. I didn't vote for Alpine (Gasly out on the first lap) or Strake (didn't watch close enough to have an opinion). Yeah agree...

Re: 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Race Thread
Norris should have been penalized, stewarding is again luaghable. I think I need to see more regarding his starting position, but his defending on Hamilton should have had a penalty. It looked just as bad as what stroll did on bottas in Silverstone last year, which he got a 5 second penalty for. Ed...

Just read that Perez wasn't let out of the pits too soon by the team, he actually ignored the red light that his team continued to show as alonso was passing. In my opinion, this should be a drive through at the minimum. Ignoring a red light literally a few feet directly infront of you and then for...

Re: 2024 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Race Thread
When you see what a talent like Bearman can do after a single practice session it makes you realise how bad Stroll is in his 7th season. A very, very impressive debut. Easily as good as half of the field in Formula One desperately hanging on to their seats. Like I've said in one of my other posts, ...

i can't vote magnussen because of his messy driving that got him the penalties, but once he knew he had them, he just took advantage of making the most for his team mate and actually did some really good driving and defending from then on and is the main reason why his team mate (and team) has any p...

having always tried to follow Bottas's progress, the team in general just seemed to have shocking race pace on any tyre other than the midiums. Slam dunks: Verstappen - not a difficult choice. Perez finishing P2 at least means he's doing the very least he needs to be but Max was in a race of his own at the front. Russell - again, a pretty easy choice. Comfortably ahead when it mattered in quali and in the race. Norris - Lando gets the TMW ...

Re: Driver(s) of the day - 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix
Sainz I think was the main Stand out, but many did a solid job today. Stroll given where he started and got sent into a spin, a finish in the points was very good. Zhou got the strategy perfect, but it's a little tricky to show how good the car was given Bottas had damage and yet more bad luck. But ...

Seeing the williams this year, I honestly think the fixed display for the dash makes so much more sense.
