Again I feel that any of the cars that contributed to this red flag, should not be allowed to use this free time to fix there car. Otherwise, many could deliberately cause this situation to their or their teams advantage.

Re: 2025 Brazil Grand Prix FP & Qualy/Sprint Thread
Hamilton still shows signs of skill. That was a great start. I think bearman was way too aggressive with Lawson here. As he dangerously pushed ocon off the track onto the grass. Piastri continuing to plummet in performance. Hulkenberg also in general has just been poor his year aside from his podium.

Re: 2025 Brazil Grand Prix FP & Qualy/Sprint Thread
The microphone in Norris's car sounds dreadful. Perfect job by him though. Solid job by Alonso and Stroll as well. Alonso beats Verstappen, and Stroll only just behind. Piastri will have to hope for a bad start from Norris. Antonelli clearly better than Russell as well. Leclerc and Hamilton both dis...

Re: 2025 Brazil Grand Prix FP & Qualy/Sprint Thread
Hamilton is going to be / should be in big trouble for that. He went waay too fast during the double yellows there. From looking at that, it just has to be a 5 place grid penalty at least.

Re: 2025 Mexican Grand Prix Race Thread
Im also a bit unclear why Verstappen was able to keep track position on Hamilton according to the guidelines after cutting the track at turn 2/3 chicane (after the crash). Hamilton was on the inside and his front wing was more than in front of Verstappens mirror, i thought that this meant he had th...

What is anyone elses view / knowledge in this area? The lack of penalty for the next race. I am not against Sainz in any way for speeding in the pit lane - it was extremelly obvious from the first replay that his car had a fault, and he reported it and it must have been incredibly frustraiting for ...

Now that the f1 radio rewind has been put on youtube, there are now lots of things shown that the main footage missed. Including Hadjar making a bad start, and getting frustrated with himself and apologizing to his team. Meanwhile, Sainz crashed into Lawson, which basically prevented him from passin...

Couldn't put it in a better spot. How is a VSC needed? How are double yellows even needed? He was off track in a manner of seconds. 1982565698183532845 Because cars would still have been racing around the corner and there is still a slight possibility (yes very slim) that a driver could go off and ...

Re: Who is favourite for the championship?
I am feeling that Piastri will get over his slump and be back next race. I also don't think Norris will be totally error free like he was this weekend. He has not managed several races in a row without messing up in q3 or the start. I think between the McLaren drivers, it will be incredibly close an...

Re: Driver(s) of the day - 2025 Mexican Grand Prix
Bearman, Verstappen, Antonelli. I was very impressed with how Verstappen handled his 2nd stint. While I have different views about how the VSC is needed, I do think verstappen will have got by Leclerc there. Bearman easily was the stand out driver, but his final stint was not very strong. Maybe (as...

Re: 2025 Mexican Grand Prix Race Thread
What an absolute joke that VSC was. Just leave the car where it is for the last lap. It's a 40MPH corner. I haven't seen exactly what happened yet, but my view is this: If it was the case that there were people on track pushing his car down the escape road, then there had to be a VSC. The marshalls...

Re: 2025 Mexican Grand Prix Race Thread
Well, that is a grid penalty for Sainz for the next race again is it not? Not that it was his fault (guessing from the issue he reported). But failing to serve a drive through can surely only result in a grid drop for the next race? And because of the severity of the penalty (20 seconds) It suggests...

Verstappen cannot afford to make any mistakes at this stage to be within a chance of getting the WDC, but - if he doesn't go for it, then things will still be hard with him losing those points. But he can't afford losing loads of points with a careless lunge.

I may be wrong here - but won't Verstappen's tyres start going off when he gets close to Leclerc. I feel an overtake is very unlikely - but Verstappen can seriously impress as we know. I think Piastri is much more likely to get by Bearman. Could be wrong though.

Yea if Russell doesn't give this position back now, I will have even less respect for him (which isn't much already) He has not shown to have better pace than Antonelli at all despite sounding very full of himself on the radio multiple times. I'd be really hacked off if I was Antonelli. Russell was no faster and letting him past has effectively cost him 2 positions. This is why I was agreeing with Mercedes. Russell was just acting so self entitled, then demonstrated that what he wanted to happen was of no benefit to the team - and in fa...
