According to Gary Hartstein, the simple fact he was unconscious means he suffered concussion and Ron Dennis is talking out of his bottom: https://twitter.com/former_f1doc
Unless of course, his unconsciousness began before the impact.

Re: Caterham into administration
Those criticising Tony Fernandes for abandoning the staff spoke too soon. He is now saying he made it a condition of the sale that the staff would be paid: "We agreed in good faith to sell the shares to a Swiss company named 'Engavest' on the basis that Engavest undertook to pay all of the existing ...

Surely they would want McLaren's performance to get worse with the Honda engine, not better.

Re: Button or KMag
Button coped very well when everyone thought he would be number 2 to Hamilton.
Anyway I subscribe to the theory that Alonso was intending to go Mercedes and McLaren weren't really thinking of having him. He's one of the top three drivers thought so they better try and fit him in somehow.

9 weeks until the first test, so the car unveilings will begin before then. Then there's the pre-unveiling speculation and sneak previews to keep track of, not to mention the driver market.

It will be very hard to support Lotus. They have gone from being the Renault works team to having no money and being on the verge of collapse, but through all that they have still maintained their position in the WCC. That's quite an acheivement if you ask me. They have 297 points and are pretty mu...

"Pay Driver" to me means someone who wouldn't be in F1 if it wasn't for the money they bring to the team.
That's clearly not the case with Magnussen, nor Kyvat nor Alonso.

I wonder what would Hammy fans and Vettel critics would say if indeed the mercedes engine is 100 bhp more powerful than the rest and Hamilton walks away with the championship. Ben Edwards is a bit annoying. His insistence on dropping the definite article from "the pit lane" and "the fastest lap" is infuriating and is unfortunately being picked up by the rest of the commentary team.

DC is great, easily a match for Brundle. Without him though the BBC coverage wouldn't cut the mustard and I'd find myself preferring to watch a recording of Sky rather than a live Beeb race.
