Paul di Resta
Sorry if this doesn't warrant a new thread but did anyone else think di Resta just did not want to be there for commentary for FP1 on sky sports F1 (I didn't watch FP2 so I don't know how that went). It was cringe worthy at times, it was obvious that David Croft had to fill in the gaps for di Resta'...

Re: Attending a GP
Hi I went to Belgium last year as part of a package and the tickets were general admission. We were sat on the kemmel straight majority of sat and sunday. Get to see the cars come out of eau rouge and there was a lot of overtaking. You don't really need a seat here unless sat at very back as it's on...

Re: 21 into 20 clearly doesnt work
Instead of starting a new thread i'd thought i'd ask this here. Anybody know how likely the calendar is to change for next year? I have booked to go to Silverstone and I am pricing ferries from Northern Ireland with imminent intention to book. Should I wait to get confirmation of the dates?
Thanks

Hi, just wondering if anyone could give advice on cheapest/best way to travel to silverstone from Northern Ireland. Considering going next year but not sure if its better to drive, ferry etc or to fly to Birmingham and go from there. We will be camping so probably will have a lot of belongings! Does...

Average. We saw a few youngsters perform pretty well, and Sauber pleasantly surprised me. What struck me during the race, is that the false "solution" DRS is now not even a solution anymore. Time for a solid rethink about aerodynamics; those front wings laugh in our faces. 8O Pretty much agree. Bru...

I also wondered this! It almost seemed like the BBC thought pah, sure its the second test now, the initial excitement has gone. But sure they have the good old 'Chief' F1 writer Andrew Benson to keep them right

Apologies if this didn't need a new thread but I just came across this article and it's just so awful it's unbelievable! I know it is meant to appeal to non F1 enthusiasts as well as the die hard fans, however some of the writing is so nontechnical that it defies belief. One example is 'There are no...

A shake up they said. Ferrari mercedes mclaren and red bull occupying the top 5 spots so far. I agree, their final years were very dismal its almost as if the team lost it's entire personalitySeanie wrote:

A parallel formula running alongside the current f1 championships where the current f1 drivers all raced in a spec series like the one Flavio is proposing would be fascinating but ofc entirely hypothethical.

He was focused more at the start of the tournament I think. He seemed to lose focus during the match with Judd Trump, particulatly when he made the gesture with his cue. Some of Hawkins potting in the final has been top class.
