Re: Anyone believe Ferrari signed Hamilton because Charles is a disappointment?
IMO Ferrari are the best team in the history of F1 at choosing good people at the wrong time for the wrong job. Provided Ferrari don't do what Colin Chapman did to Dave Walker (i.e. give Leclerc merde to drive deliberately) Hamilton will be much more embarrassed by his new team mate than his current...

IMO Ocon is unsafe, of those who represent a physical threat to their rivals, only Magnusson exceeds his ability.

Norris - probably his most consistent drive I can remember
Could I suggest 2 awards,
Driver of the Day - Norris
Dork of the Day - Magnusson
The problem for me is Magnusson wins his prize just about every race

Taylor Swift (who IMO is a damn good and competent performer) entered into a romantic (read 'much more') relationship with Travis Kelce (plays for Kansas City, 3 time NFL superbowl winners with Kelce) sometime in 2023. Kelce is a 'Tight End', physically they are 'big' men (he is 1m95cm & 113kg), and...

I meant that the teams appealed against them, they couldn't obviously stop them. Liberty had the final saying as you mentioned. But I think that Liberty wouldn't have necessarily objected without the other teams' coercion, I bet they would gladly just collect more entry fees and have another Americ...

F1 Academy held a 2 day yesterday session yesterday & today at Zandvoort.
Both days saw mixed conditions with predominately wet running.
Abby Pulling was fastest yesterday, 0.25s faster than Doriane Pin. She was also quickest today by 16:00, this time by 0.35s over Maya Weug.

F1 does care about image, hence the "bringing the sport into disrepute" True of some FIA & F1 team members. IMO absolutely not true of Liberty. Would I be overly judgemental by suggesting that Hamilton's presence at Ferrari is unlikely to encourage inappropriate behaviour by the team?

I am always cynical about media response to "unethical" behaviour. I am advised that one of the leading digital journalists/presenters who is regularly critical about Horner has 13 children, only 3 are with his wife. I'd like that kind of info in the public domain everywhere so we can make ethical j...

Apologies if this was common knowledge but it was a surprise to me when I learned today that MSV's GB4 not only offers a £50k prize to the winner but a £30k prize to help the highest ranked female towards a 2025 F1 Academy drive. Now it's not likely but also not impossible for Alisha Palmowski to wi...

Yea, 2005 is up there but, for me 1996 is the most emotional. Palmoski's debut win came after a season of racing in Ginetta sports cars, having said that she dominated and was in control. The news that Massa has begun a UK high court legal action against 3 named organisations/parties regarding his failed WDC victory has changed my view on the entire process. It seems apparent that Massa feels abused by inappropriate implementation by the named orgs/peeps of the then current regulatio...

I watched the highlight reel. Some enjoyable racing, but as a series they need a driver briefing on track limits, they were racing as if the track was 3 miles wide!
