Re: Helmut Marko accuses Mercedes of 'helping' Ferrari catch

I'm sure Ted Kravitz on Sky said after Malaysia that Ferrari managed to poach some top Mercedes engine men as well as Jock Clear. I'd put it down to that. Such gains in such little time? And I don't know about the Merc engine men but Jock Clear is yet to start working for Ferrari (gardening leave) ...

Sorry, the licence fee IS optional. You only have to purchase it if you want to watch live BBC broadcasts. Incorrect. ANY house with a TV must pay the licence fee. Sorry but that is not true. My workmates has a TV and doesn't pay it. All legal. Check here http://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/check/viewtopi...

I know what you're saying, but loads of leaders have saw their leads cut because of the safety car. That's what happens and Jenson has benefitted grearly from gaining under safety car in the past. Deserves win though. Can't take that from him.

Seriously though, some have been good, some have been awkward. There's not been a great deal of action between the top 3 finishers to make for a decent interview anyway.

Hamilton's defensive driving today was fair. Hard but fair. No contact, no weaving. Just putting the car into the correct position for each turn. With TFLUFF's logic, Jean Eric Vergne would have got a drive through for defending against Hamilton too. And his driving was good today.

I thought Lewis was a dead cert to stay at McLaren, but after James Allen's blog yesterday, I'm now convinced he's off to Merc. What advantage, if any, would Merc have in 2014 with the new engine regs? Also, when does McLaren's engine deal with Merc end?

I camped at Silverstone last year and visited Towcester on the Saturday and Sunday nights for drink and pub grub. We were charged about £20 for a taxi which should have cost half that. It was a O.K because it was shared between 4 of us though. The traffic was no bother as we went at night. Someone w...

What if you use DRS but come off the throttle slightly and therefore deemed to have slowed down under yellows and kept to regulation time? Or is DRS under yellows just completely banned?

Depends on what your view of PR is really. I agree that Lewis is never gonna be the joker in the pack, Jenson and Vettel beat him there. However, put him in somewhere that he naturally enjoys and he's got great appeal. Take the BBC's jet ski race around the Thames last year for example. While Lewis ...

Thing is, since the 2010 points adjustment, the rewards for taking risks and going for the win far outweigh consistency.
