His judgement is off because his confidence must be really low. I don't think he's finished though. Just needs a good race behind him.

His beard seems to have got him up to speed! :D The beard is interesting. When I saw he had it I felt it was part of a bigger change he'd made. It doesn't seem the kind of beard grown to be trendy, as a challenge or as a joke. It's the beard of a man who means business. I think he's come into this ...

Re: Eddie Irvine's scathing assesment of Formula One today
Michael Schumacher comprehensively beat Irvine when they were teammates at Ferrari. Since then, Irvine has claimed Schumacher was a 'god' who was unbeatable and in a different league to every other driver who ever and will ever compete in F1. And how dare Vettel win four championships when Irvine wo...

It has nothing to do with advertising Marlboro. It's simply a coincidence that the big logo on the engine cover is a big red and white arrow made up of a mirrored M and the 'Mission Winnow' logo on the drivers overall contains six arrows.

I think this should coincide with a radical re-design of F1 cars to incorporate bigger wheels and a more aesthetic solution to the head protection element. I guess, in essence, I am suggesting they are made to look more like *gasp* Formula E cars or the Mclaren MP4-X concept.

Surely anything with a tiny bit of 'give' would be better than the current solution? It definitely won't be the same without him and it seems like the end of an era. Yes. Alonso just goes in circles, he has no hope of podium finish, let alone a victory. His reputation is still good, so he shall say goodbye and leave F1. It would be also good for Mclaren , as they are centered around, him to find a new focus. I agree. It's now too late for Alonso to succeed at M...

The biggest problems against overtaking are the tracks not being conducive to overtaking and the difference in car performance between the top tier and lower teams is too great. Unless it rains, it will always be a boring 'race'. Maybe somehow make it a kind of time trial stage. I am actually more impressed by the speed of these current gen F1 cars than overtaking. There are many ways to protest against something. I think it was a desperate move by Vettel, seeing that he was in danger of losing the lead. I think grid penalties are fair. It's arguable whether they actually damage the spectacle, anyway. Putting a fast car/driver at the back of the grid leads to some good racing and allows the smaller teams opportunities to get points over the bigger teams. And there isn't really a fairer way of stoppi...
