Re: Planet F1 Winners and Losers view on the Bot v Ham incid
Don't think it was worth a penalty though. It was a racing incident if you ask me though Bottas is certainly not at fault. The stewards seemed a tad overeager with the penalties, first with Massa and then with Hamilton. Ironically, Maldonado didn't get a penalty for crashing into Vergne despite an ...

Re: Whitmarsh says rival reneged on Magnussen deal
Well if someone reneged on the Magnussen deal, it's Magnussen who should be waiting another year for a drive. I don't think Perez deserves his McLaren seat either but I didn't like how they made it difficult for him to find a drive anywhere for 2014. Whitmarsh is trying to wriggle out of taking resp...

Re: The credibility of "reducing F1's environmental impact"
F1 is already carbon neutral if I recall correctly. Could you explain what that means? Are they buying carbon credits or something? F1 neither confirms nor denies the existence of carbon, they are neutral. Haha but I am seriously interested in the answer to this one. What does it mean for a sport t...

Obviously, if Kimi's back really needs immediate attention, then it's fine and the rest of my post is irrelevant. But it does look like an awfully convenient way to get out of driving while not breaking his side of the contract. I suspect that Kimi is more bothered by the intra-team issues than with...

Re: Help please with a probability question
I have read the arguments for and against answers of both 1/2 and 2/3 and the reasoning behind any of those answers appears to have been glossed over. Before I try to explain, think about what the answer would be if there were a box with BB a box with RB and a box with 15 Red balls. Does this make ...

I'm struggling to see the connection with the Monty Hall problem.
So the guy picks a red marble and I know that the box is either RR or RB. It seems like it's P=0.5 to me.

Some good points but at the end of the day, it seems like I have no business telling people to change their lifestyles to a more environmentally friendly one while I'm supporting activities that do some real damage to the environment. F1 and the environment
As F1 fans, do you guys often think about the environmental impact that F1 has? Do you feel that the technological benefits from F1 that trickle down to the cars we drive sufficiently justify the act of wasting petrol and driving round in circles? I find myself quite conflicted on this issue. I am a...

The end of the DRS straight has a fairly low speed turn and is an excellent place to give way. Grosjean wasn't being impatient by expecting Raikkonen to move over at that corner.
