Re: Silly Season 2022
Enough of Hamilton's easy ride with Bottas. I've got a novel idea tho... Get George Russell in the Merc for 2022. I can't see Hamilton letting Mercedes do this, he has had a much tougher season against Verstappen than he was expecting and next season he will want as little competition from his own ...

When 2 drivers are fighting for positions what can the leading driver do to hinder the other driver? How can he minimise any benefit gained from the tow on the straights or make entry and exit from corners harder for him?

Will the 2nd place go to the driver who ran wide or who spun out pushing too hard chasing victory at Abu Dhabi or will it solely down to each drivers performances?

Has any driver concentrated on sandbagging his performance too much during practice that his qualifying and race were compromised because he hadn't learnt properly how his car behaved at the circuit?

Re: Is bottas time up at Mercedes.
I don't think so. In Hamilton's eyes Bottas is the perfect team mate, he fast enough to run 2nd or 3rd in a race and help keep other drivers further behind Hamilton as he extends his lead but not fast enough to regularly challenge him. There is no way Hamilton would allow Toto to hire a driver like ...

Personally I think Red Bull and McLaren have the best driver pairings. I think these two teams will allow the drivers more freedom when it comes to racing each other and in both cases I think the rivalry and competition between the drivers will be very closely fought.

Mercedes have developed a system that allows the driver to change the alignment of the front wheels. By pushing and pulling on the steering wheel the front wheels alternate between standard 'toe-out' setting and a much straighter position. https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.tech-insight-have...

How to fix f1. Other things to improve f1. The floor of the car must be the same dimensions of the car. Not a floor that overhangs and comes put to give aerodynamic aid. (Basically hamilton shown the area to ellimimate. It's not needed) Could all cars using the same FIA floor be a possible rule?

But like the Senna accident in 1994 the death itself wasn't caused by the circuit design. Senna was killed by a piece of the front wheel assembly piercing his visor, Hubert was killed by being hit at very high speed by another car and his car being sliced in half.
