Re: 2021 British Grand Prix Race Thread

Not sure if you're being serious? I don't think we saw Lewis turn in to Max at any point? We saw Max turn in to Lewis but not the other way around? Absolutely serious, I can only assume you haven't watched much racing. Since he was alongside, Hamilton has to be left a cars width, which he was. If y...

Re: Uncharacteristic errors from Hamilton and Verstappen

Hamilton’s racecraft is incredibly overrated. He’s either overly cautious or stupidly clumsy. He doesn’t know how to walk the line like Alonso and Verstappen do. Did Verstappen walk the line today or get it wrong? If you watch the on board he turns right knowing Lewis is beside him and he's the one...

Re: 2021 British Grand Prix Race Thread

Putting the obvious incident to one side, how on earth did max get 12.9% of the vote for driver of the day when he didn’t even complete a lap. It just goes to show that a lot of people vote for their favourite driver irrespective of their performance. That said, I think Charles fully deserved it I ...

Re: 2021 British Grand Prix Race Thread

Nice to see the British fans cheering while Max is in the barriers, possibly seriously hurt given the speed of the crash. Doesnt surprise me one bit though, I've been to two races and heard the cheering for Rosberg & Vettel's issues, shameful. Much like any other countries fans who would do the exa...

Re: Forum verdict on the Hamilton/Verstappen collision

Maxs fault, and it all started with his aggressive defending earlier in the lap, he went off track at turn 1 to retain the lead, then was weaving on both straights, id even argue he made two seperate moves to cover the inside before the crash, the last move was when he knew lewis had the inside and...

Re: 2021 British Grand Prix Race Thread

Here’s my take on the incident between Hamilton and Verstapen. 1) Lewis/Merc was obviously hurt by the humbling they took in Austria and the way the sprint race went added more insult to injury 2) Max defended his position aggressively as well on Saturday and going into turn 9 Lewis was on the outs...

Re: Forum verdict on the Hamilton/Verstappen collision

It doesn't help that Lewis just said that Max being hospitalised doesn't change his feelings about his win, it feels a little like Lewis is more concerned with the championship than another driver's safety. Again, not saying he did anything malicious, but it leaves a sour taste. I dont have a probl...

Re: Forum verdict on the Hamilton/Verstappen collision

Racing incident. It was always going to happen at some point during the season. Hamilton went in. Yes he understated a bit. But max turned in as though lewis was going to pull put of the move. Given what hamilton attempted in the sprint. He wasnt going to pull out again. Verstappen could of run wide...

But compared to 6 years ago. F1 is not in a good place. Maybe a bit better this year. But the fundamentals are still there which is still crapping on the sport. It's more than 1 change that's needed.

Although I can argue that I have 6 different 1 changes.

We dont need a report to know that if there is under representation of black. And mixed race people. It starts with education. I'll tell you what. They turned the track side volume down alot there just then. I think that much like in Silverstone in 2 weeks. There was quiet alot of booing of the BLM knee that the drivers are taking. Much like yesterday in italy before the england match.

Williams seem to think it's OK, let's hope they're right. They looked like they were fishing round the rear end when it got to the grid. Wishbone and suspension area.
