Re: Hamilton: Simulator no better than PlayStation
So, this is circuit racing. You go around the same track (in circles, as our wives constantly tell us). Once you're in the car and done it 3 or 4 times, there is nothing new again. Why do you need a simulator to tell you anything more? Last weekend I went pro-Karting, the first time in 10 years. Nev...

My thought: Lewis was in the best position to battle for a PODIUM, not necessarily a win. We are unable to use Rosberg's pace and strategy as benchmark for Mercedes, as he just is not capable of taking the fight to anyone - mentally. It's proven impossible for Rosberg to "forget Lewis" and win without Hamilton being on the back foot (self inflicted or not): . . . Spain (Ham bad start). In some ways he's the best F1 wingman in history. Nico wins pretty reliably when Hamilton has a bad weekend. So when Rosberg drives better than ...

Hamilton tried to fight early on, had his issues, and defied the teams wishes in the end and began dropping his time deficit to Nico hen the team asked nicely for him to just bring the car home. So he didn't lose brakes, just the feel.
He also says he could have held off Kimi.
