Jenson Button breezed by a Haas car today at the first chance he got with DRS. Supposedly the Haas car has a 60hp+ advantage, according to our Lotus friend. Never had a problem with Eury but it was obvious he was going to get banned. Towards the end of his time here he became alot more argumentative especially with the Mod team weirdly. Shame because he was monumentally intelligent and clued up.

Gutted for Perez absolutely deserves to be in F1. I know I'm in the minority on here but I think he did well this year. Looking at his letter makes me wish everyone had his attitude. But not alone, I rate him very high, like his combative spirit and I'm confident he'll outscore Button in the second...

Not going to go into it coz fear of the internet dropping out again!! Basically the nose cone of 09 McLaren was the course of all the problems. They fixed it for German GP. It went a lot deeper than a nose cone. They had suspension issues, wind tunnel correlation problems, they couldn't find a rear...

Re: If Honda hadn't pulled out in 2009...
I'm of the opinion that Honda would have smash the WCC far more convincingly than Brawn did, based on a few things. A much bigger budget than Brawn plus Kers which was believed to be worth .3 of second a lap. Its worth pointing out that the Brawn was also essentially a base car, a car with 3 months ...

Its not just Martin Whitmarsh's fault or Sam Micheal or even Paddy lowe...I personally think that Jenson Button is to blame...if you look back at his honda days, he was getting the car designed around himself...and each year it went worse up until the rules changed in 2009...thanks to Ross Brawn ! ...

It was not Lowes 2013 car If you think he wasn't on gardening leave or moved into a diminished position before the announcement of his move to mercedes then you are very naieve. McLarens car was being designed way before Lowe had any intention of leaving, so it stands to reason Lowe had a major par...

It's going to come down to how quickly McLaren can get a handle on the set-up, and extracting the maximum from the car. I've no doubt they have a lot of pace still to find, and are as good at developing a car over the season as any other team, but if they spend the first seven/eight races flounderi...

Look guys - there is no-one more disparaging of the early Hamilton than myself; he was hailed as the demi-god, and to anyone who has half a brain, he has delivered on his promise as a young rookie driver. His problem according to Hembrey I think it was,was keeping both ends of the car in the window. IIRC he could get the rears to temp but the fronts were too cold. When the fronts were brought up to temp the rears overheated. It was Hembrey that said that JB had the biggest temp difference between ax...

Everyone has to adapt to the tires every year. In every team I've ever been involved with with multiple drivers, its standard to compare the telemetry. Who braked later, who got on the throttle sooner, who had less wheelspin, and where all that happened, etc. Jenson wouldn't even need to see teleme...
