Good grief. In a slippery quali session where a Williams can plant their car third on the grid, proving its an unpredictable session, and you’re panning Danny Ric and saying he’s done? I don’t get the Danny Ric hate here. First people were putting the boot into him years ago with that BS “Max is ou...

Re: Driver(s) of the Day - 2021 Russian Grand Prix
Norris can't be driver of the day. He was driver of the first 50 laps then made the biggest error of all. Though his team let him down and should have demanded it. Merc pretty much ordered Hamilton in. He took a gamble and lost. It could have easily have stopped raining. And if that happened he wou...

There is a limitation in the voting system that if you 3 people who you feel were best, 2nd best and 3rd or 'honorable mention', all 3 get the same number of points. If everyone felt the same 3 drivers in the same order were the best 3, then they would tie, even if everyone agreed on which driver wa...

As the expression goes, one swallow doesn't make a summer. If the beer is tasty enough, perhaps it can. Nah, you'd spend the rest of the year pining after the rest of the pint. Mind you, that's about the same as the British summer. British summer gets a bad rap. The time I spent summer in Britain i...

Hi guys, I'm a very casual F1 fan, I've always liked Ferrari but clearly it hasn't been great viewing for us Ferrari fans. Maybe I haven't understood it properly, but as I get it, not all the cars are the same. Some drivers have faster cars than others like for example I hear Lewis Hamilton has had...

Räikkönen, Leclerc and Verstappen. I'm still a bit critical of Verstappen's aggression, but that's what it seems to take if you don't have the superior car. What did Verstappen do in the sixty seconds or so he was in the race to deserve driver of the day? Why, beat Hamilton, obviously. Didn't you n...

I think the teams were caught out by the tyre degradation and just how much faster it was to do a later pit stop or a second stop. So some drivers may have been looking like stars when really it was just better strategy. Yes, drivers often get credit for results that are not down to them. On this r...

Just thinking about Ricciardos age and the contract/driver market. If he can't get up to Landos current level this could be a career-ending move. I was hoping for more options other than F1 teams. What would Bottas do if he is not in F1 I think it the question. There is so much debate between those supporting Max and Lewis about who has the fastest car, yet it seems logical that Perez vs Bottas should figure strongly in determining which car is faster. I believe Lewis is moving to Racing Point (Aston Martin) next year because he's enjoying driving this years Mercedes so much. Although that's techically not possible, change of regs. ;) Yes, can't make an exact copy anymore. Besides, they would at least need to give his current car a new paint job.
