OK, you don't need to 'erth the car to the ground for you to become part of the existing circuit. wear rate shouldn't be worse, LMP1's could have done 5 x 45min stints at Le Mans this year on even lower profile tyres - they didn't because it would have gone over the max driver time allowance!

Still believed they should've based the nose heiht regs off the location and height from the reference plane of the driver's heels.
