So the Aston Martin appeal mentions that they should have 1.44l still left in the tank:

While being level on points with Charles hugelt flatters his performance, he has done very well so far. Exactly what Ferrari hoped he would bring plus a little bit more.

How far would a 0.6 litres get you though? I'm sure they could have wind it down a bit over the last few laps and probably still got third? It is in the rules in black and white but it feels harsh. Do they have to make it back to the pits nowadays? I honestly can't remember, I do remember drivers p...

Re: 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix Race Thread

Max Verstappen's first line of his post-race interview: "Again, taken out by a Mercedes, so..." Olympic gold medal for whinging, though still time for his team principal to nick it from him. Getting tedious now! If Max had some humour he'd be saying something like "interesting tactics by Mercedes"...

Re: How will Max and Lewis race each other for the rest of the season?

Did he break the rules, though? He made a mistake, but I don't think he broke any rules aside from the result of the mistake. I think Hamilton is saying he'd go for the move again given the same chance, and just hope to do it better next time. Fair point. He needs to clean up in that case or he'll ...

Re: Hamilton/Verstappen British GP 2021 Collision Discussion

It is obviously possible that Verstappen wouldn't make the corner, but he didn't get the chance. It also feels irrelevant at the moment, not sure what does that prove. I think they just pushed each other to a game of chicken with late braking and this was the result. They hopefully learned something...

Is it reasonable to assume that Hamilton ran wide out of Copse because his car was briefly destabilised by the contact? I would imagine Max's car would be more of a door stop rather than a magnet?
