I believe all engines go into a pot and a distributed randomly to the teams including the works one.

however you can't tell me if one shows a few horses more I won't end up in the merc.

as stated it will be packaging and software and how the power is delivered is what the differences are.

sounds like something conductive to have shorted out the connections, likely a wet lube of some sort,
