Re: "Tough Luck" - Vettel's Headspace
And btw, why is adaptability one of the most important parts of being a top driver? Do you really believe that or is it simply because it happened to be a good argument against Vettel? It is absolutely a valid point. Imagine this, you (personally) have been driving the same car for years (or so one...

Re: Merc "thinking" about re-considering team orders
So are you saying that there has been no fights other than the Mercs in four races? Or that you are not the slightest bit interested unless the fight is for the lead? And if the pre-safety car battle between Hamilton and Rosberg didnt interest you, I'm not sure what would. +1 This is an interesting...

Re: NBA: Clippers owner banned from NBA
Again I think he deserved to be punished, but I think in this case the punishment was not well thought out. On the other hand, having this heavy-handed punishment could be just what is needed to fix the problem. Maybe now that NBA employees (because that's technically what they all are) know the ex...

Re: "Tough Luck" - Vettel's Headspace
Vettel's 'slowness' and Ricciardo's superiority must have something to do with the new car, suiting one driver and not the other. Remember what a difference the changes in RB diffuser, tyres had on both Webber and Vettel. True. Vettel did well in cars with the older V8's and that worked for him. Ma...

Re: Schumacher awake and recognised his wife.
The article states that this hasn't been confirmed by the family yet, but if it is true, then they are correct, he has achieved his greatest victory yet.
I really hope it's true!!

Re: Team Mate Battles - Chinese GP
Personally, glad to see the outcome of the Force India team battle. I was starting to think Perez was putting the pressure on Hulkenburg, but things seem to be back to the norm now.

Re: Merc "thinking" about re-considering team orders
Enjoy no team orders while it lasts because with the present "run a way" the Mercs are enjoying it is one of the things that is keeping this interesting for me at least, it is going to lose something once Nico is told to stand down. I absolutely agree. The fight between Mercs at Bahrain made their ...

Re: Lotus F1... Will their fortunes change in Europe?
From the looks of things so far this season, I wouldn't be surprised if they scored at least a few times. It would take some major reliability upgrades to get them to the top 5, but top 10 is not out of their reach. They aren't a bad team, just having a ton of bad luck.

Re: 2014 F1 USGP ticket prices released
(a) Yes. Steve C is correct. 8) (b)Whoop-dee-doo. Your point is??? :? I've been going to all sorts of auto races since the mid 60s. I am a race fan. (and participant for a bit) (c)Which in itself proves you're not a race fan; you're a normally aspirated, small, high revving V8/10 exhaust sound fan....

Re: Who killed the British Motor Industry? -Jeremy Clarkson
As an American, I can only really comment on what I have observed. I would have to agree though. Things haven't been looking all that "up" for the British motor industry. There are only a few companies, compared to how many there were, that are still owned within the UK: (McLaren, Morgan, Lotus, I t...

Re: Time for this forum to go Tapatalk
It seems their Error 503 backlog is giving them more than enough work at the moment. Once that's sorted I'll bring this to their attention. Bump. So, it's been some time since this post, and I know the servers aren't under your direct control, but there is still a huge push to have sites/forums mob...

Re: Is Vettel overrated, or Ricciardo and Vergne underrated?
I still have a lot of respect for Sebastian Vettel. But he is losing the respect of many. And possibly maybe even inside the team. I thought that when Ricciardo was coming up on him in Bahrain on softer tires, the way and the tone they told Vettel that Ricciardo was faster was unnecessary. I though...

Re: New Member introduction thread
Hey all:
My name's Tony and I'm from Western Massachusetts, US.
I'm a fan of Nico Hulkenburg as a driver, and Ferrari as a team.
I used to be pretty big into F1, but for a few years, I didn't keep up. Just getting back into it with the 2014 season.
